Picture is 90 degrees out i.e. portrait not landscape. Have had to stand screen on its side. How do I correct this please?

If you are running Vista or XP, pressing Ctrl+Alt+(arrow key) roates the screen. Play about with different arrow keys until you find the one that gets the screen back to normal.
In windows 7, go to the control panel > Appearance and Themes > Display, and select "Change display settings". Under "orientation", choose "landscape", and you should be back to normal.

Hi...my LG monitor has changed to portrait view and I would like it back to landscape...how do i do this?

Rotated or upsude down displays are caused by unintentional pressing Ctrl-Alt plus the down arrow key.
Restore by pressing Ctrl-Alt plus the up arrow key.
ALSO
To change the display from portrait to landscape
Press Ctrl-Alt plus a left or right arrow key.

Some computers do not have this function.

My daughter has managed to change my display from landscape to portrait how do i get it back to landscape?

Look where the system tray would be on the lower right side of the monitor and look for a display adapter icon. Rich click on it and look for the Hot-Key option. That should tell you what hot-key to revert your screen back.

My stuff is still sideways on my computer

Hi tbowhay, Go to your control panel, there we have a couple of options: Maybe you can find it back in Display, then to Orientation, maybe there is an option to put it back to Landscape. Or if you own an Nvida GPU there would be an option in your Control Panel, go there to your Nvidia Control Panel, choose the standard settings -> Display -> Rotate Display, and back to Landscape (without the flipping ;) ) ATi has an icon in your taskbar, where you can directly go back to the right settings, switch it back to Landscape. Good luck to you!

Samsung 4216f doesnt print landscape, Vista 64

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

SETTING PAGE TO LANDSCAPE

The factory-stock 1940, which uses Windows Mobile 2003, doesn't offer landscape mode.

You can get a 3rd party program called Nyditot Virtual Display that will let you use the 1940 in landscape mode, but I've used it before, and although it works, the problems it creates are not worth it. Besides, that program's not free.

Adobe offers a pdf reader for free that let's you read pdf files in landscape mode.
