Communication problem with my brend new T5720.

Hi, My motorola talkabout radios are not working properly. one works fine, but the other seems to receive interference almost like a sound return (not sure how to call that in english, feed back may be) . It just sounds real faint...very very faint. other than that, it looks OK. Any Idea? I cannot return it (ebay) Thanks, Claude

Re: Communication problem with my brend new T5720.

I have seen some problems with new out of box radios, one of them is out of frequency and recieve with noise and works with low range coverage. I can not clarify what you mean with feed back, check if you set in low volume if the radio works fine. That will tell you that the speaker or the Synth circuitry has a problem. Neto.

Here is a link to the user guide for the Motorola TalkAbout T5720. I only could find it available in English. You will need to translate into Indonesian.

Where can I buy repair parts for my Motorola T5720 Talkabout radio?

So sorry, parts have never been available for the TalkAbout line of radios (other than TalkAbout Distance & DPS). If you are looking to repair an existing T5720 unit, your best option would be to locate a like-model for parts. eBay can be a good source.

As for replacement batteries and accessories you can use the Motorola TalkAbout Accessory Store.

Best regards.

Talkabout T5720 Frequencies

Hello Ruaal,

The frequencies in the TalkAbout T5720 are not adjustable. The radio operates on the designated Family Radio Service channels located at 462 and 467 MHz. There is no way to change these channels to be at 463 and 464 MHz.

Best regards,
