Not taking pictures

Step 1:
A webcam supplements communication with family and friends. It's often used for video chatting. But you could use your webcam to take pictures, as well.

Make sure your webcam is connected to the USB port of your computer, installed appropriately, and the computer is on and ready. Navigate to the "Start" menu and type "webcam" (without quotes) in the Search field. If you've previously installed webcam software, the program should appear in the search results. Double-click the selection to launch the webcam application. From the webcam dialog, select the "Quick Capture" icon (the example is for Logitech software, but other applications have similar functions with different names). Position the camera and person or object that you want to photo capture. Select the desired resolution from the drop-down menu. Click "Take Photo" to take a photograph. Browse to the picture destination to view your photo. Now that your photo is stored on your computer, you can email or print it.

When I take a picture with my Logitech Quick Cam, It shows fuz. How can I get the fuz out of my camera to where it takes pictures like it should?

There's a few things you can do to make it look clearer:
Make sure there is no dust or dirt on the lens, you can clean it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip if needed.
Make sure the bundled software isn't sent to a filter that causes blurriness.
Try taking the pictures in situations with increased lighting. The sensors in webcams are generally cheaper ones and perform poorly in low light situations.
Please note that unless you have a HD model, the camera is probably taking a relatively low resolution photo that can cause it to look grainy or blurry when viewed.
Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

When i take pictures or on webcam with some1 they say im bluryy and i need help so i can see a clear picture of my self no blurry

webcams are not good for taking still photos. they are best for video. and even at that they are not very good quality, their use is for online streaming of video, which they are good at.

if you really want to take a good still photograph with your webcam you should use the application that comes with it, make sure not to move, and make sure the lighting in the room is static, else the camera will keep adjusting which results in a blurry image.

The flash keeps popping up when I take a photo

The flash will come on because the light meter is reading that you need more light in order for your exposure to correctly turn out. If you think you don't need it, the flash will give you fill light. If you don't want it on, go into the menu, put the flash to "off" or run the camera in a manual mode and don't use the "green" auto mode. This should probably take care of it.

Nikon S210 flash not working

The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When I press the button the little red light beside the flash sign lights up, but the camera does not take the photo. When I set it to flash mode, it still won't take a photo. When I turn off the flash, then it does. What could be the problem? Is it in the settings?

You are shooting with the exposure bias set too far on the plus side, not familiar with the 550, do You have the user manual? If You look at exif data of posted photos, You will see that many are taken at settings below the midpoint. If You don't have a manual, go to the Olympus website, many manuals are available for download. You may also find the function in the menu based on sunny, cloudy, etc, this is important to set right
