Question about Minolta magicolor 2350 Laser Printer
I'm using a Mac G5 duo on OSx. I am connected to the printer via USB. At first, my problem was with connection using USB. Now it seems that the USB is connected. I see the printer in the printer queue. When I send to print. The printer stays processing forever even when printing a test page with one word.
Is there a setting on the printer that I might have selected to cause this problem? I've done the reinstall of driver already. Your input might get me to start printing again.
IN PROCESSING mean its doing the internal house keeping are your image units and toner OEM no other error code, reseat all the toner and image units, Replace non OEM Cart. try this site for latest drivers etc.

When you print stop the printer half way through then check the image on the opc drum and transfer belt to see if it's complete or not, also you may want to check the aidc sensor (sometimes the cable comes loose). I can e mail you the 2300 series service manual (4.17mb) if you reply with your e mail address

SOURCE: question about mc 2350 cartridge
I just got done replacing my toner. You'll need to change toner and most likely all of them. There is no other solution. I refill mine by buying the bottle toners. It can be messy and you'll need to take some parts off the cartridge to get to the opening plug and reset the lever so that the printer knows the cartridge is full. It is cheaper than buying a toner. The cartridge has a life of about three refills. Anyway hope this answers your problem.

Everytime you disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to a different port, unfortunately, Windows creates a new and distinct copy of the printer. You can see this by looking at the Windows Printers folder. The solution is when you change around USB ports, right click on the printer icon that is actually the active one (the other copies will be grayed out) and Set to Default. Then you can delete the other invalid copies. Then in the Minolta status software, go to the Display menu and Select Printer to change which printer is monitored to the correct copy. It's very stupid that Windows Plug n' play does this, but it does. So avoid change around USB ports on your Konika Minolta printer.

I am confused. If you can see the printer via the web browser and you can print a window's test page you are all set up and ready to print. There should be no problem printing as long as you have that printer selected as the default printer and it is selected in whatever program you are printing from. What do you mean by "straight over the network"

Testimonial: "This was helpful because I got the printer working. I made me take another look at the installation and enter the right settings and port number in."

The printer uses an "eye" to check the level of toner. You can override this. Open the front door of the printer and take out the cartridge. There is a small round "window" (less than 1/4" in diameter) about halfway along on the right hand side of the cartridge. Stick a small bit of black insulation tape (or scotch tape colored black with a permanent marker) over the window and pop back into the printer. When you turn the printer on, it won't even give that "Cyan toner low" message!
