I had a problem with the printer ,it stated churning out garbage ,I switched it off ,and when restarted the orange light on left hand side stayed on ,this normally happens with paper jam but ther is no paper jammed this time ,I dont have a user guide for the machins so trouble shooring is not easy.I disconnected the machins from the PC but the orange light is still on AGHH PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET THE LIGHT TO CHANGE TO GREEN ,JUST TO COMPLICATE THINGS BEFORE I DISCONNECTED IT FROM THE pc I was getting a timeout message regards Druidsense
The 6p, or at least the ones I?ve seen, have several LEDs so I?m assuming the top one is what is orange. I?ve included the link to the LED codes, however, the three possibilities are top cover open, there is a paper jam or the print cartridge is missing or not installed correctly. If that fails then its possible you have a failed sensor or electronics board.

1 It is trying to make more than 1 copy and the second one is jamming as it's picking up the paper ( clean tires)
2 it's set to legal instead of letter.
