Try to open the file from excel
Open excel 1st the locate your spreadsheet file from File Open menu.
if your still getting same problem try open using google docs, click this link http://docs.google.com you need a gmail account to use this facility. (google docs is the counterpart of MS Office, its Free to use and web base)
