How do you go from the tv to a home theater system it is a bergmann 6.1 channel hm-6.1 and the tv is a 17in sansui flat

The "home theater system" you mentioned is a rip off plastic toy manufactured for the express purpose of duping people in parking lots into buying something for a ridiculously high price making them think they're getting a deal. All the same you should just need a pair of RCA cables to go from the audio outputs on your TV to the audio inputs on the sound system. If your TV doesn't have ausio outputs you'll have to run them from your signal source(DVD player, VCR, Satalite receiver etc)

I have a Sansui RZ-7001 home theater system but cannot get surround sound when connecting my LG Blu-ray BD 550 to it. What am I doing wrong?

fred i dutoi,

Check your connections first. Make sure your input on the Sansui RZ-7001 menu is selected to dvd. Also, make sure the blue ray cables are also inserted in the correct inputs on the rear of the receiver(dvd input). via. rca cables(red, white & yellow) the yellow is the video, hdmi, or optical. If you do not hear sounds coming from your speakers you need to check the separate volume levels for the speakers within the receiver itself. Front and rears having different volume levels within the receiver. Hope this helps. Also make sure you check the volume on the dvd player. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com. Have a great day !

Sony Home Theater 5 DVD changer, was dropped in transit

if you know how to open it, remove the top cover( a couple of screws on the rear) and remove two connectors, one being a ribbon cable and the other a multiple wire connector. If it still does the protect, then it is not from the dvd mechanism but a fault on the board.
