Web opening problem

The windows based phones usually O2 requires generation 2 internet connection. So you check with your service provider for the connection type.
If it is 2nd generation internet connection then check the GPRS settings in Settings>Connection for the authentication. If PAP is selected then try with CHAP, because it varies based on the service provider.

Connecting internet through tytn II

You need to install Activesync on your Laptop.

Then connect the device via USB. Once connected open the Comm manager, then you can select "Internet Sharing"

Select USB, and the network connection you want to use, then hit the connect button. You should see the laptop pick up and get an IP from the new connection.

Then you will be connected via your active network connection from the phone :)

Htc p3400 airtel gprs enabled not connecting internet with p.c.

Its not true that one cannot access internet on pc via htc p3400i. Right now I am using the same to post this message. The problem is there is not much help available on the internet. Hence i have decided to post the solution.
Here are the steps.I took to enable vodafone mobile connect on my htc p3400.
1) You will first have to enable gprs on you mobile by calling helpline. 2) Go to start->settings->connections(tab)->connections     Click advanced tab. Then cilck select networks. You will see 2 drop downs. In first drop down select vodafone mobile connect and in second drop down select my isp.     This is all that you need to configure on the phone.
Now connect the data cable to the pc and then connect the phone to the cable. you will be asked two questions. Select USB for one and select vodafone mobile connect for the second.
Now go to start->programs->internet sharing and say connect. You are now ready to surf internet on the pc. just fire your fav browser and check it out.
Thanks, Nilesh Gadkari

You have two possibilities to connect your PDA to internet. First one is to use connection of your PC or Notebook. Check please connection settings under Start>Settings>Connections. If you want to make automatically connection to Internet, use first option. Under “Modify” you have possibility to create new connection. Did you already try to make connection like this? Look on http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/help/pocketpc/ossupport.aspx There you can find lots of useful information how to connect PDA to Internet. If you want to make connection using Bluetooth, look at https://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com . There you can find Bluetooth SD Card 2 which you need for Bluetooth connection.
