Hi,

Please confirm if the noise is coming from the monitor of from the desktop. If the buzzing noise is coming from the monitor - i suggest to request for a replacement. If not it could be a noise coming from the desktop system fan or from the hard drive.

If you hear like a clicking noise coming from the hard drive you may need to run diagnostics on it to check if the hard drive is failing. check with your computer manufacturer is your system still under warranty for parts replacement.

Keep me posted.

Thanks

With homebrewing, what is the difference between extract and all-grain brewing?

Brewing your own beer requires you to boil and make beer with a wort extract. Extract brewing is where you use reconstituted wort to make your own beer. This method is much quicker and requires a lot less equipment than all grain brewing, which involves creating your own wort from the beginning.

It's a great thing to make your own beer from scratch but it's a much more complicated and involved process than brewing your own from wort that you purchases.

Turn on my computer, I can hear the fans, no beep noise upon starting. Screen says no signal found. I tried other monitor cables and monitor. No dice.

one of 2 things is happening a) if you have changed the cord and tried other moniters then the display port beit vga or dvi on you computer is broken you will either if you have agraphics card already installed then replace that but if you have no dedicated grapichs card you need to replace the mother bord
B) check your moniter to see if there is a source button if there is then push it to see if the image comes up repeat up to 3 times
ps: if you have a dedicated graphics card look at the back of you computer and if there are 2 different display ports be it dvi or vga (google image the terms "vga port" and "dvi port" to see what they look like) then plug it into the other on to see if the graphics card is broken

NOISE IN MONITOR

Hello

Something you can try is to have a look at the frequency of the monitor. Right click on the desktop, propperties and have a look at the settings.

It is usually the wrong frequency which result in a noise.

Hope this can be helpful.

Kind regards

How do i turn off the high pitched frequency noise

If what we are talking about here an old model of monitor that has a bulky back, the high pitched frequency is caused by other electronic devices such as your speakers.

- Relocate your speakers away from the monitor
- do a factory reset on all settings on the monitor or if possible, do a degauss.

Even if i switch on my computer with moniter it doesnt show anything on moniter screen it remains black

Hello. With the computer and monitor OFF, disconnect the signal cable from the video card on your system. Next, turn on the monitor. There should be a bright green box with a pink outline of a video connector inside showing. If there isn't, and the monitor is definitely powered up, then there is an internal problem. If there IS a little green box, etc., the video card in your system is suspect.
  • 1) When turning on the monitor, do you hear the sound of the high voltage initiating?(i.e. you should hear some type of electronic noise like a vibration or crackling of static on the picture tube)
  • 2) If you do hear that high voltage kicking in, it may very well mean that the picture tube is dead and getting a replacement monitor is in your future.
  • 3) If you don't hear the high voltage, quite possibly the transformer that produces it(called a flyback transformer) is defective.
Due to the vast array of inexpensive monitors available, you probably should consider getting a new unit--the cost of a new display will rival the cost of the repair--and you get a fresh warranty to boot. If the picture tube is gone, there's no choice.---Rick

My fridge will not cool. I hear it running non stop, there is a trickling water sound, but hardly cools. I had it set at "4" for over 24 hours, and then moved it to the max. At both settings, the freezer...

You have a refrigerant leak sorry I suggest to get a new one because they are not wort to repair then unless you happen to do that for a living. will cost you more to fixed than the fridge wort. :(
