Question about Samsung SCH-u740 Cellular Phone
I get an error message saying "Error-54 AIM service unavailable. Please try again later. This is strange because Yahoo and MSN work, just not AIM. When im on AIM on my computer and try using my AIM on my Alias i get a IM from AOL saying "Your screen name (*************) has signed in from another location. This screen name is currently signed in at 2 locations. To sign off the other location(s), reply to this message with the number 1. Click here for more information. This is also weird because it says i have signed on somewhere else (my phone) but I dont. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

I have the same problem. You have to use the area code, the full 10 digit number. Even the phone numbers stored in your memory need to include the area code for the text to send.

This may have to do with the screen your phone is on. With my eternity, I have to go to the alternative screen (widget screen) for it to work.

Ok there might be a battery issue. Or there might need to be a touch calibration reset. To do that go to your settings and select touch calibration and do it again.
ALSO IF YOUR PHONE IS STILL IN WARRENTY AKA WITHIN 1 YEAR OF PURCHASE THEN CALL 1800 801 1101. THEY WILL HELP YOU. YOU WILL NEED YOUR IMEI NUMBER OFF THE BACK OF THE PHONE. IF NOT CALL THE INSURANCE HOTLINE WHICH IS ON THE AT&T WEBSITE.
