Question about Panasonic CT-32D12D 32" TV

1 Answer

SHARP LC-13AZIU I've got a Sharp 13" Flat Panel LCD that is about 2 years old. The other day we were watching it and it just turned off. Now, every time you turn it on, it works for about 5 seconds then it just powers off. It doesnt matter how many times you do it, it turns on and works fine for about 5 seconds and then it powers off..

What does ocp stands for and how to fix it?

OPC stands for Optical Picture Control

Sharp TVs have a sensor to adjust brightness based on how bright is the room (OPC).
You can also set it up to have a visual clue of what that value is (1 light bulb, 2 , 3, etc.)

ST413B. Is this model digital?

Unsophisticated is the first word that comes to mind when describing a television like this one, making it an ideal choice for those who want something they can use to watch television but don’t care about anything else.. Without cable input, there is little hope to get the picture looking sharp and clear using an ordinary antennae. IT IS NOT DIGITAL AND RUNS ON the old RABBIT EARS.!

I ve got a sharp aqueos tv i turned oevr channels

Try this: unplug the power cord from the wall, let TV set stand for AT LEAST 30 minutes, then plug back in and and see if the TV operates as normal.
Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't.
Good luck !

I have a 13-15 year old sharp tv that will worksome times

well if you really love this set, then i suggest you change all or most of the fast switching diodes, usually 1n4148 Nte519 mainly around the micro, video and abl circuitry. Also alot of capacitors especially the ones around heat sources,eg heat sinks and wirewound and flame proof resistorsI.If you want the service manual for the set,i have over 1000 sharp schematics,i am sure i have that one. Please request it at

Have you checked on the settings? Maybe the speaker function was turned off?
Also, the speaker migth got busted or the audio IC may be the root of this.
