Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

Machine will not work and flashes 12 minutes

My washer is stuck in the cycle and 12 is flashing on the screen everytime I plug it back in. Before I unplugged it, F and H were flashing. You can move the dial and other functions will light up, but nothing happens when you push any of the other buttons. I've tried the drain cycle and pressing the end cycle button for 3 seconds and nothing happens. The washer was full of clothes that did not totally complete the spin cycle and the door would not unlock. We've already cleaned the pump filter, checked the water screen, and manually unlocked the door to get the clothes out. Any other suggestions.

When washer gets to 12 minutes it shuts down and flashes ul

Tammy: According to Advantagesupplyfl.com: "uL is displayed when the machine/motor control detects an off-balance load, and is steady on while the washer runs a mini-cycle to rebalance the load.
Display clears if mini-cycle successfully rebalanced the load.
If the mini-cycle is unsuccessful, uL will flash until the door lid is opened, allowing the customer to view and redistribute
the load."

Use downwards force to relieve tension on the spring clips holding that front panel on.themobilian_1904.jpg

Video how to:

Once yall have the front panel removed yall will notice the motor has a green blinking light on it.
The motor blinks on and off all the time It blinks faster when running. That is normalment mon ami.
If it ain't acting right it will display flashes:

1 flash bad motor
2 flashes slipping belt
3 flashes corrupted software bad motor
4 flashes failed mode shift circuit
5 flashes little green men (bad motor)
6 flashes locked motor check for objects between tub

To Reset the Inverter Board: Push the timer knob in so the washer is idle. Unplug the machine for one minute. Plug back in and raise and lower the lid six times within 12 seconds.

After resetting the inverter board, put the machine in a spin cycle and see if it runs. If not, check for a green blinking light on the inverter board. It will flash failure codes according to the picture above. If no light you probably have a blown fuse built into the neutral side of the harness on the white/red wire.themobilian_26.pngthemobilian_27.png

What does E27 on display mean

Bosch washers come with built-in sets of error codes used to diagnose and correct common problems. The E27 code isn't often listed in Bosch manuals but relates to the washer door lock

The E27 error flashes on the washer LCD screen and stops the current load. Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and then plug it back in to reset the code.

Open and close the door two or three times to reset the sensor. Sometimes the door has been closed too hard and the sensor reading fails.

Hi, I overloaded my washer with towels. It hasn't fully drained (can hear water beneath the tub when you move it). I tried unplugging it for a minute, but the same problem presents itself. When start is...

The motor has a power inverter on top of it. Try and reset the motor by doing this:

Turn the washer off. Unplug the machine for one minute. Plug back in and raise and lower the lid six times within 12 seconds. It may take a few times. The motor has a green light on it that blinks. If it ain't acting right it will display flashes:

1 flash bad motor
2 flashes slipping belt
3 flashes corrupted software bad motor
4 flashes failed mode shift circuit
5 flashes little green men bad motor
6 flashes locked motor check for objects between tub
7 flashes bad lidswitch.
8 flashes motor overheated too much soap
9 flashes brake resister is toast bad motor.

After resetting the inverter board, put the machine in a spin cycle and see if it runs. If not, check for a green blinking light on the inverter board. It will flash failure codes according to the picture above. If no light you probably have a blown fuse built into the neutral side of the harness on the white/red wire.themobilian_4.png If you see a liitle bubble in there then you know that dude is toast.
That fuse is: $7.50

The washer is only 1.5 years old and has been working fine until a recent power outage. After the poer was restored, the spin cycle quit working. Any suggestions?

Reset the motor is what you must do.

If no light you probably have a blown fuse built into the neutral side of the harness on the white/red wire.

Hi,
It sounds like you have something stuck in the pump.
To repair
Unplug machine.
Remove bottom front panel(remove 2-3 screws in the bottom) Pull bottom of panel out and down to remove.
Towards the center bottom you will see the pump. On the front is a round thing that resembles a filter. This is the pump filter screen...Get a shallow pan to put under screen. Turn lid counter clockwise to remove(turn slowly and allow water to drain. As you may need to dump pan several times before all water is drained out. Be carful or you could end up with water everywhere. Once the water is drained pull out screen and remove the debris and objects stuck in screen and filter housing you should also be able to see the impeller on the pump inspect for debris. Once everything is cleaned out reverse removal procedures put back together.

Cycle stops after a few minutes,LE flashes on screen

First try unplugging the machine for a few minutes and then retry a cycle. If you still get the LE error:

The Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in the US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble. Usually takes under a half hour. On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, it might rate a 4. This should be a Fix-Ya for your machine, and at basically no cost!
In the US, find a service provider using your zip code at http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp or call LG at 800-243-0000

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

Door locked, start pause light flashing

I also have the same problem. I have got it to work by unplugging for a day and night. When I plug it in the next day it works like new for a couple days and then back to the same old "door locked" problem when the door isn't locked........BIG HEADACHE!!!!
