Try using a little bit of tape & see if that solves the problem.
just make sure that it doesn't interfer with the threads movement

SOURCE: The thread keeps jumping out of the thread takeup

if you have the machine threaded correctly, try threading the takeup lever from the opposite side so the thread crosses over itself and see if that helps.

Bernina 930: the thread pops out of the uptake lever every few seconds of sewing.

Be sure that when you thread the top thread, the presser foot is ALWAYS IN THE RAISED POSITION.

I have a different machine with the opening on the top of the take-up lever and the thread "jumps" out when I sew fast. I simply folded a piece of tape over the top of the opening and it doesn't jump out anymore... Just create something that will close the opening at the top.

Thread uptake keeps dropping thread after about 5 stitches Ive rethreaded changed needle checked bobbin area changed bobbin and still drops

Do you mean the thread comes out of the take-up lever when you sew? I have an old Pfaff that if I sew too fast, the thread "jumps" out of the take-up lever and then it's an instant mess of thread. I fashioned a small piece of tape to cover the opening in the take-lever and no more problems. Something like a drop of hot glue may work too.

If the thread is tightening at the take-up lever and eventually breaking, it is most likely because the thread is not advancing properly through the tension disk or the thread is hanging up somewhere between the thread spool and take-up lever. If you watch it closely, you may see the thread tightening and then be able to discern where the problem originates. (Make sure the thread is not hanging up at the thread spool.)

How do I keep the thread on my Designer I from jumping out of the uptake while embroidering.

Slow down the speed of your machine.

I have a machine (not embroidery) that the slot on the take-up lever is rather large and the thread will jump out if I'm sewing fast. So, I placed a piece of scotch tape across to close the gap, fold the tape in half so it covers the sticky part. Technically, it has closed the gap so the thread can't jump out. Works just great.

if possible take a piece of cloth and place it over the take up lever and get a pair of pliers and gently close the take up lever alittle bit just enough to keep the thread from coming out.

My thread uptake lever keeps coming unthreaded. It causes stitches to be skipped and eventually the thread breaks. I have adjusted the tension, it doesn't help.

take up lever--try putting some tape on it to see if that will stop the thread from coming off.
also change the needle--make sure is the correct one for the fabric

The thread keeps jumping out of the thread takeup lever on my Pfaff. What is causing this? I've replaced the needle and the bobbin shuttle.
