There is not enough information to help you in your question. How are you trying to launch word, from the desktop or as a document in your "My Documents" folder? The worst case in that you need to re-install word. If you have the original disks, you can launch the installer and "repair" you installation. That would copy over all the files of the original install, but not change any personalizatins you have made. But beware, this will also undo any Microsoft Patches that have been issues, and you shoud re-install those as well.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

The disc draw doesn`t open when i press the open button

standing up or laying down?
when standing they sometimes stick, lay it down and if it still won't open then press down on the casing just above the eject button.
if that doesn't work then the unit will have to be opened, the dvd drive taken apart and completely cleaned.

I cant open my microsoft office 2010

There are several programs in Office 2010, which one is giving you trouble? If you only had the trial version that comes on a new PC and never purchased a full use key then you will need to get an updated key from Microsoft. If this is a full version and you get no message at all when you try to open a program then you will need to uninstall and re-install the program. This won't effect any documents you have saved so there is no major issue with that.

How to download microsoft word 2010?

If you just want to be able to view and print Word documents on your computer, you can download the Word Viewer from Microsoft. You won't be able to edit them, though.

For full Word functionality, you can download a 60-day trial of Office 2010 from Microsoft here, but you'll need to buy a product key to keep using it.

OpenOffice is a completely free alternative to Microsoft Office. It can open and edit Word format files (including docx) as well as many others. It also gives you spreadsheet, database, presentation and drawing functions. Get OO and skip Microsoft entirely.

My ppt is crushing although I have Office Home and Student Licence

Hi, regardless of how much we pay for Microsoft Office one or the other day it will crash and won't work as expected. I have a great solution for this, now i have uninstalled Microsoft Office and downloaded Libreoffice!!!! It's free to download and distribute to your friends. It can open all types of Microsoft Office files like Word, Excel, Power Point...etc. It can also save them with Microsoft Office file format as .doc, .xls, pptx...etc. Just Google as Libreoffice to get the download link.

If you still need Microsoft Office, then for the problem you mentioned, re-installing Microsoft Office will resolve the issue.
