Your radio is trying to draw more current than your power supply can provide it, you need a power supply with higher current capability.

The weld wiring burning doesn't meant the transformer is good, it only means you have shorted hot to ground and thats what happens when hot touches ground it heats and melts. I would start by looking for a schematic for you welder. Check and making sure your getting good power to the power supply, relay(s) first. Also you can ohm out the transformer and check for the proper resistance but without the schematic/wiring diagram I can't say what the specs are. Normally on these the power comes in to the switch and then to the relay(s) which send power to the fan, and then splits to the trigger which allows power to the transformer, wire feed motor etc. But without the diagram your just shooting in the dark.

When I turn the car on the fans come on and stay on what could be the problem? Oh ya the temp gauge dosen't go pass 100.

either the radiator fan relay (electromagnetic switch) is shorted closed, applying power to fans constantly, or the engine coolant temp (ect) sensor is not or is unable to send proper signal to the computer cause the fans to default on ( this would also set the check engine light). I would check for codes first. Then check the relay to see if it is actuating properly when power is applied and removed. Next check the ECT for proper resistance. If the you get an over limit (OL) reading on your multimeter then the sensor is bad. Next I would check the wiring from the ECT sensor to the Powertrain Control Module for possible short to power or ground. If everthing checks out to this point it may be the PCM, though unlikely.

Dim read out on oven.

Sounds like the transformer that powers the display board is shot. Unfortunitly, they are located ON the display board on most ovens. You will most likely have to replace the display board. Contact DCS, they will be able to help you. Have model # and serial # handy BEFORE calling, both are needed for them to help you. Voltage too.

Schematic diagram of central air conditioning

Several types out there. 99% of them use the same basic wiring.
Red is power from transformer to t'stat. Sometime there is a wire for common from transformer to t'stat too, but not always.
While is for heat. Green is for fan. Yellow is for cooling.
These 4 to 5 wires go on the terminals that are maked with letters: C=common, RH/RC is for power, W=heat, Y=cooling, G=fan.

In most cases, 2 wires from the indoor unit will go to the outdoor unit to power it for cooling. Usually connected to the yellow wired, Y terminal and common or grounded to the unit if the transformer is done in the same fashion.

If you have a heat pump, totally different animal and different wiring too.

Hope this helps you. Good Luck.

No power, blown fuse in power supply

This TV has a few fuses and it not easy to troubleshoot it without the schematics, and is very unlikely that the convergence fuses will cause a complete no power on this TV.
What is the location of the blown fuse?
Where do I send you a copy of the service manual?

Dim control panel unable to read

Removed the amber glass which obscures the display enough to remove the wiring from view. This also allows you to see the characters much more clearly. You now can see the inidvidual light elements.
It's not too bad, people don't even notice, but they do notice you can now tell the time and see what the oven is doing.

After additional research, I called the power company. A transformer was being replaced on our street. After the initial email, several appliances started to partially fail (i.e., stove clock worked but burners did not, ceiling fan light worked but fan would not, lights dimmed).

Dvd player is completely dead.

First thing to check is the power cord with it unpluged. Do you get a resistance there or is it open?? If its no reading at all then the power transformer or fuse or current limiter resistor is open. If you do get a reading then you know your power transformer primary is good. Next measure the AC volts comming from the secondary of the transformer. AC volts? Good! Now Find pin 1 or the end pins on the microprocessor. 5 volts present?? No theres your problem get a schematic and troubleshoot the power supply. Yes 5 volts? Measure the display any volts on it?? Ok im sure by now your gonna say no to one of these and like I said get a schematic and conferm all the voltages are present in the power supply. Most common dead problem in dvd/cd players is the power supply ie transformer, regulator, ic, ect, ect. Good Luck
