SOURCE: HP Photosmart 3310 does not recognize paper in tray

This is usually do to a sensor, your correct on that, thers usually a plastic piece that indicates theres paper and its broken or worn.

The other thing is that it may be the little rubber grabber is worn and not grabbing the paper, so the printer thinks thers no paper because nothings going through. These parts can be orderd but are usually costly depending on the printer. If its under warranty, take it back.

Also, check the trey and make sure it isnt a I.D.10.T error and you just set the paper to legal or something. I've made that mistake before.

SOURCE: HP Laserjet 1200 - continuous blinking yellow light

A flag is a little plastic piece that is hinged and goes in between a sensor and a light source. They use a ton of them in printers. It actually looks like a flag, about 1/8th inch square that can move in between the sensor parts. It's possible that it broke when you took the envelope out. Most likely it's the paper exit sensor in the fuser. They can break easily. If so, then you'll have to get the sensor flag or a whole new sensor. Check with a local repair shop. They should have the sensor and can install it in a jiffy.

Please Follow the instructions in an attempt to resolve the issue you are facing:

  • Turn off the printer and remove all paper from the paper tray & disconnect it from the computer.
  • With the printer off, check for any obstructions such as torn paper or foreign objects.
  • Turn on the printer (still disconnected from the computer) and check the lights / lcd screen.

Still getting the same error ? Go for Warranty or Service.

Else,

  • Place 20-30 sheets of paper in the printer, ensuring none of the paper is torn or creased.
  • Make sure that the paper is flush with the far right edge of paper tray, move the left edge paper guide over so that it touches the left side of the paper.
  • Try to feed paper manually (using the paper feed button).

If you still get the error let me know for further troubleshooting,

Dont vote till you find it is Helpful or FixYa.

Thanks,
Scott

SOURCE: Error 13.20.00 on HP laserjet 5200 jam inside top

This is a common issue and most times a bear to repair. There is a sensor flag mounted on the paper feed assembly behind tray 1 which has a habit of either coming off or the spring which moves it back a forth comes out of its holder. In any case it is one of the worst repairs you have to do. Many items have to come off to get to it and getting that flag and spring on correctly even with the instructions is difficult. Usually what will happen is you get the 13.20.00 error on power up with no motor movement and when you open and close the top cover, the motor will move but the same error reappears. If you are lucky it is just a case of a shred of paper blocking the sensor flag from moving and worst case of the flag having come off. You will need the service manual and check the removal and replacment section on the paper feed assembly and play close attention to the 3rd page.

sometimes this error also appears if a wrong fuser is installed in ur printer that is not ur model number.... have it checked
thank you have a nice day

AEG Lavamat 60810 E70 7Beeps Does seem to still work but display shows E50 and some time E70 and 7beeps over and over. Many thanks

First of all, read exactly alarm code.
Press "Spin/Rinse hold" button and "Prewash" simultaneously for at least 2 seconds: the LED switch off and then display the
sequence of flashes indicating the alarm.
The alarm sequence is displayed for the time in which the buttons are hold down. During the time the alarm is displayed, the appliance continues to perform the cycle or, if it is in the
selection phase, it keeps in memory the options previously chosen.
E70 - Family alarm code
  • E71 - Washing NTC sensor faulty
  • E74 - Washing NTC sensor badly positioned
Causes: NTC sensor badly positioned; NTC sensor faulty; wiring faulty; PCB faulty.

E50 - Family alarm code
  • E51 - Motor power supply triac short-circuited
  • E52 - No signal from motor tachometric generator
  • E53 - Motor triac sensing circuit faulty
  • E54 - Motor relay contacts sticking
Causes: Motor faulty; wiring faulty; PCB faulty; current leakage from motor or from wiring

Why would my projector refuse to start with a seemingly intact light bulb?

If you only have 300 hours on it it should still be under warranty. Before doing something to void that I would check with Optoma techs.

I have a ruud furnace/airconditioner Model:UGPN-07EAMER, Serial: FU5D302F390401344. When the thermostat calls for heat, a little motor (within the furnace itself) or something kicks on, the burners ignite...

Hi, this motor is the inducer motor, which is the first thing to start on a call for heat. Everything seems to be going through its sequence of operation just fine, but then shutting down on a safety. Look on the panel for a chart that should tell you by the number of flashes and color of the leds what is wrong. It is locking out for some reason, could be several of many. Next to the pilot, you will have a flame sensor. The metal tip sets in the pilot flame. When they get dirty, they will cause the furnace to do just as you say, run and then lock out. You can take a piece of sanding cloth and sand the metal tip on this flame sensor. If this is the problem, it will start and stay running. Also, look for this chart I have told you about, as it is there to help you locate which safety is giving you the problem. My bet is the flame sensor. Please keep me posted, and rate me on my help to you. The flame sensor also has a electrical lead that is attached to it going to the board, so you will see it.

It seems u have performed most of the steps to isolate the cause of the issue.

if not...I guess there has to be something with the motherbaord.. then u need to check the follwoing recall program from HP. if ur laptop is in that then u can get the discount in repair otherwise u need to really concern the local tech to replace the MB.

Screen will not come on hard drive light no light checked power supply is ok

Things to check:
  1. Power led on the front of the tower, it should be solid green when on. Flashing Amber is generally an indication of a bad power supply inside the tower
  2. Power LED Solid AMBER indicates system is not finishing the power on self test (POST) and you remove all connections from the tower except power and try turning on again. If no change, remove all PCI and PCI-E cards from system, try again, no change replace motherboard.
  3. On the back of the tower are 4 diagnostic LEDs near the ps2 ports marked ABCD, after the POST, during a normal boot the will flash in several sequences and with boot is finished all 4 should be green. If they stop an a different pattern, then that indicates a failure Yellow Yellow Green Green indicate bad RAM for example
  4. If the LEDs on front and back are Green then the system appears to be booting but the monitor display is not functional

My hp clj 2600n printer wont stop reading initialzimg on control panel machine not spinning

This is the Power On Sequence

Power-on sequence
The power-on sequence is for the purpose of the printer initialization and checking for possible malfunctions.

The following is the sequence from when the printer is turned on until it enters STBY mode.

  1. Power on
  2. Central processing unit (CPU) initialization
  3. ASIC initialization
  4. Video interface communication start
  5. Residual paper check by each sensor signalling paper presence
  6. Initial drive for main motor, pickup motor, and fuser/delivery motor
  7. Fuser heater initial drive by controlling fuser temperature targeting for 100°?C
  8. Initial drive for scanner motor
  9. Failure/Abnormality check
    • Detect scanner failure
    • Fuser failure
    • Door open during the above periods
  10. Communication with memory tag
  11. Cartridge presence detection
Main motor failure detection
The CPU determines the main motor failure, stops the printer, and notifies the formatter of error
status, when it encounters the following conditions.

  1. Main motor start-up abnormality.
The interval of the MAIN MOTOR SPEED DETECTION signal (/MAINMFG) does not become the specified interval after 1000 ms of the main motor drive start.
  1. Main motor rotation abnormality. The interval of the /MAINMFG signal stays at an irregular interval for 100 ms and longer after once it has become the specified interval.
Fan motor failure detection
The CPU determines the fan motor failure and notifies the formatter when it encounters the following
condition.

The FAN LOCK signal (FANLCK) is “H” for approximately 10 seconds and longer during fan motor
rotation.

Your description makes it sound as though the printer has a main CPU failure as all other faults should display an error or error code. In the light of this it seems that the printer will need to be looked at by a service engineer asap.

I get a "beep" in the middle of gameplay on my HP D330

Hi, it,s possible that the game your running is crashing up, due to lack of system memory. this usually happens if for instance:- the graphics card or Ram can,t cope with the amount of charactors or pixels, needed to be displayed on the screen. check the games minimum system requirements are met for that specific game. also check that Direct X drivers are correctly installed. I HAVE A 2004 CHRYSLER PACIFICA AND THE HEATER MOTOR SOMETIMES DOES NOT WORK IT SEEMS IF YOU CYCLE THROUGH ALL OF THE OPTIONS IT THEN STARTS TO BLOW. IF I HIT THE RECIRCULATION BUTTON IT SOMETIMES BLINKS.

Have you run the recalibration sequence for this? you put the ignition in the on position, then hold down the power and recirculation buttons for five seconds until you start getting flashing lights on your led panel. Let it finish flashing - 20 seconds to two minutes. That will recalibrate your driver/passenger side modes. The other thing is you do know that the pacifica is equipped with a delay, if the delay is lit up on your panel, it counts down so many minutes until the engine is warmed up and then your heater will blow, while it is in delay mode the blower automatically shifts to the lowest setting. hitting buttons like you said, you are probably eventually turning off the delay and then the blower motor will kick up.
