The PC starts but slmost immediately resets before Windows runs.

PC: Mesh SN95G5 Cube -Athlon64 (939)
OS: Win XP-Media Centre 2005
I have removed HDD and reformatted it.
Put the HDD back in the Mesh PC and reinstalled Windows from the MESH Recovery CD.
The Windows install appeared to work OK but Windows still would not run and I still have the original continual reset problem.

There can be lot of bugs first it can be BIOS fault is that you turned on PC auto turnoff protection have you turned on the computer protection against overheating at very low degrees in the BIOS and it just turns off, or processor failure is because it`s too much is overclocked to much MHz for this type of CPU set by motherboard switch keys like I was have on my old PC as overclocking Spectrum Modulated sample will not work any example from the internet, but only on that what was been on motherboard printed, as in internet was been only one my model which one wasn`t worked by internet, as well as jumpers or BIOS overclock go as well can be wrong set in Thermo set, be sure that degrees is at least about 60 degrees in Celsius or your selected one but not like 40 degrees in Celsius, before it`s automatically turns off, I was tested it on my old PC and it worked good. There is homepage all you need your Official DRIVERS, for PC, BIOS, MANUAL:

Shuttle Global SN95G5
If your Browser just doesn`t open this use Tor Browser, because Hackers always wished that some homepages doesn`t works, like that is especially necessary, so there is link to download this browser: Tor
And as well there is another tips, answers from myself, how to repair PC: Motherboard won boot up cpu fan comes on hdd
I guess that you have Gigabit motherboard after that you have Gigabit LAN, it`s high speed, as well there can be only MSI without Gigabit motherboard on NVIDIA nForce 3 ultra witch can be checked at site:

, to acces BIOS just Press key immediately, or at the following message: Press DEL or or simultaneously press , , keys to enter BIOSThe PC starts but slmost immediately resets before - d4838d75-4670-4ea1-9d25-f4ea59f09ee7.jpg
As we can see in picture how looks like BIOS menu when it is turned in SETUP mode, now we just need to go with arrows to Load Fail-Safe Defaults and press enter then press F10 SAVE to CMOS and EXIT (Y/N)? Y press enter, after that just do this again with Load Optimized Defaults for performance, and then check that all voltage is set correctly to RAM and Video card(It`s AGP that means AGP slot not as PCI slot like some NVIDIA video cards), if no PC will completely not work, see in picture:voltage-gyvf0pzbxyykkipel0m5jfoz-3-3.jpg as we can see default RAM voltage is 5V SBVIN to be worked it all after that go to PC Health Status to see how much is the real CPU temperature if it`s not after 100 degrees in Celsius all is fine wiThe PC starts but slmost immediately resets before - health-4cyml5j2fqseragbs510zyly-3-3.jpgsrc="/uploads/images/health-4cyml5j2fqseragbs510zyly-3-3.jpg" alt="health-4cyml5j2fqseragbs510zyly-3-3.jpg" class="h_mi" /> As wThe PC starts but slmost immediately resets before - temp-kzjazhersgenbex1ytech0vu-3-3.pngCPU Temp gag in PC Health Status tab see in picture:temp-kzjazhersgenbex1ytech0vu-3-3.pngafter all is finished just Save all BIOS configurations again and see what will happen I mean did it works.

SOURCE: The computer won't boot Windows

It sounds like either Windows 7 did not install properly or you have a bad hard drive. I did some research on similar problems and most people have also tried to change the boot priority with no luck. If your are tech savvy I would try to run hard drive diagnostics and possibly reinstall Windows 7. If you are not very technical I would suggest taking it to a competent pc repair technician.

How to enter my bios and how to change my SATA mode to IDE because i want to migrate windows 7 and install xp pro 2005 and my installation did not work untill i downgrade my current (windows 7) os to xp...

Accessing the bios, read this Link

As for your installations, do you meant that you want a "Dual boot on your system" ie 2 Operating Systems on one PC? Win 7 & Win XP on the PC?

If you wish to know more on "Dual Booting" for your PC read, LINK1, LINK2

Before getting started, make sure your PC hardware must be Win 7 compatible? This type of installation & usage is not meant for the non savvy users, because "bugs" errors! usage after installation.

Hope it helps.

Am trying to reinstall windows xp media centre ediition following reformatting hard drive. I get the message `boot manager missing. So cannot reinstall my xp media edition os.

Where and when do you see that message?

Windows need to be installed on one of the primary partitions (not logical ones). What's more - the partition they are installed on needs to be active. More info on disk partitioning can be found here.

One way to fix boot manager problems is to start recovery console - it is described here. Next you need to log into your installation and type to commands: fixboot and fixmbr.

Hp dv1000 media card

Hello,

Remove the media card while booting.

If there is no media in the card reader, press F8 after the laptop beeps during boot and this should give you a Safe Mode boot screen, choose Safe Mode and then your default OS listed. After you get your desktop, restart the laptop.

If when you press F8 you get a boot from what screen, choose your hard drive and then immediately press F8 again to get the Safe Mode boot screen.

You need to either remove the flash media or use Safe Mode and then restart to reset the Boot Ini information script.

Let me know if this works for you or not, as we may need to take another measure.

Booting

the following id taken from my own XP media centre laptop.

line 1 [boot loader]
line 2 timeout=30
line 3 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
line 4 [operating systems]
line 5 multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Media Center Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

ignore the "line 1,2,3 etc" I added them for clarity the formatting in this answer pane messes up the last line.

also before you get to edit the start up file make sure that the default operating system listed is the sae as line 5 starting from the "

hope this helps.

Many issues few solutions

Sounds like you have a real mess there that you can lose a lot of time trying to solve. I'd suggest saving all your files to another drive, and then reinstall the OS and only allow the system to update through the Windows update manager/web site, which should be able to match up the right update files. Do all this patching of the OS without installing any other hardware devices to keep it clear where things go wrong. Once the OS is patched completely, install new hardware and patch it separately watching for the tell-tale incompatibilities with XP/MCE2005. Especially watch for legacy devices that might not have modern drivers.

Hope this helps - good luck...
