Convergence Problem Hello, My Panasonic PT-47WX53 developed a symetrical "ghost" arc of blue. It ends at the lower right and left corners. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

All over the screen Blue gun seems to project inches to the right of the rest of the screen creating shadow images in blue of everthing going on. Went to tune gun according to the menu but no luck. Blue would not move from its current location on the screen.

I had a problem with my TV colors not lining up. One day I turned it on and the green was out of wack. I checked this message board and replaced the STK chips, bad soldering and all led to me just giving up on that and buying a whole new Convergence Board ($185). I replaced the missing silver box on the new board and I just plugged this in and though now my Green lines up okay, my red is out of whack. Is there something I am doing wrong? Can anyone help me? Did i miss a step? Frustrated......Bruce

Panasonic 47wx53 covergence issues

Is the power indicator flashing three times? If so the Ics have shorted shutting the set down. You will need two STK392-110 convergence ICs. You can get replacement ICs at the following link with free installation instructions.

Convergence Problem

The convergence IC's have been known to cause similar problems and both would be replaced at the same time. Not an easy job for a DIYer. I would get a repair shop to fix it.
