You need to install the SOUND DEVICE DRIVER, for this you can use the CD provided by HP or you can download the driver from www.hp.com

No sound coming from speakers, Showing erra message every time I try to play music showing this message There is a problem with your sound device. "No active mixers available",

Try reinstalling the audio driver.
You can download the audio and device drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the Windowsdrivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download thedrivers: -

My computer is motherboard and processor is core i7 and window7 i have realteck hd manager in my computer and i have hp stereo headset my sead set is ok my sound system is not working in my computer

Sounds to me like you just need to change audio output devices. Assuming both are connected, right click the speaker in the lower right hand corner of the windows task bar. Click playback devices. One will currently have a green check mark next to it which is probably your headset. Right click your speakers and hit "Set as default device" . Then right click it and it test. You should now have sound coming out of your speakers. To switch it back do the same thing but for your headset.

No hdmi sound, no sound devices

Try to use external or internal sound card, if you find it working it means that the sound device of your Sony Vaio is the real problem. This means that you have to use another sound card device to be installed in your Sony PC, because built-in soundcards is connected to the motherboard of the PC so fixing that problem will cost you a lot.

check to see the sound is working under the control panel .. system icon click and goto device manager

you might have a bad driver for the sound device or the device is bad on the motherboard

also test under sound devices.. and set the default device to use ..

Speakrs don't work on new HP Pavilion desktop.

If you're using Windows XP, go to the Control Panel, then double-click on Sound, then go to the Audio tab and make sure the playback device is set to your Realtek output.

If you're using Windows Vista, go to Control Panel and click on Hardware and Sound, then click on Sound. Make sure your Realtek device is selected with a green check mark. If it isn't, just click on it and then click the Set as Default button down below. Vista sound configuration is kinda quirky, and it does do some kind of detection when you plug a cable into an audio jack, so you might leave this screen up while you plug your speakers into the green audio jack in the sound card and see if it pops anything weird up.

and than try see you have sound
if your sound card is good ur issue is resolved
