    Hi laneycath,
I had the same problem (but lived with the clock out-of-sync) until we had a power cut yesterday and I had to fix the clock on the oven.
Your answer was just the ticket!
    Thanks, Andy

I went to the website:

http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%203177060.pdf

http://www.kitchenaid.com/custserv/service.jsp
from page 8
Turn the knob to the left until a tone is heard and "time" appears in the display window. The previously set time will appear in the display window.

Continue turning the time knob in either direction until the correct time of day appears in the display window

Press the START button to begin clock operation

How do you set the clock on the Electrolux cooker?

You didn't specified the model of the oven so it is possible to set in a different way. There are several kinds of timer (with tree, four, five and six buttons) depending on the model of the oven. Here is explained how to set clock on the most common oven timer with three buttons.

First of all, the oven only operates when the time has been set.
When the appliance has been connected to the electrical supply or when there has been a power cut, the function indicator Time flashes automatically.

1. To change the time that has already repeatedly, until the function indicator Time flashes.

2. Set the current time using the "+" or "-" button.

After approx. 5 seconds, the flashing stops and the clock displays the time of day set. The appliance is now ready to use.

Chef classic wall oven with digital clock change time?

Press the TIMER button (the leftmost one with a little bell icon) and the "cooking" button (the one next to it with a "hot saucepan" icon) briefly at the same time. Within four seconds start changing the time with the + or - buttons. When you have the correct time just leave it and it will leave time setting mode four seconds after the last button press.

Double GE wall oven - F7 code

You either have a stuck touch pad button or a bad clock.
Push all buttons several times to try and clear.
If not successful repair is a new clock.

Hotpoint Self Cleaning Oven

the oven has a feature where you set the time for it to begin cleaning and the time for it to end cleaning.
Next to the clock in the middle of the back are two dials. The top one is the start time, the bottom one is the end time.
I suggest 2 hours to allow a good cleaning.
The locked light will turn off when the cleaning is done, allowing you to open the locking lever.

Try turning the power off at the breaker for 12 hours.

I had the same problem, tried turning the power off for a few minutes but that did not fix the problem.

Leaving the power off overnight seems to have fixed it.

Diplomat Oven ADP3650 Instructions

User manuals are hard to find.
The problem I had was setting the clock on a single Diplomat oven, with no clock button. Here's my solution :

DIPLOMAT OVEN OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Diplomat single oven is controlled by two knobs and a set of buttons along the middle of the control panel.
The left knob sets the temperature of the oven, while the right knob selects the function to be performed, e.g. fan oven, grill, etc.
The buttons along the middle set the cooker clock, the start and end times of cooking, and the “+” and “-“ buttons will increase or decrease the time shown on the cooker’s clock.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVEN WILL NOT OPERATE UNTIL THE CLOCK IS SET.
If there is any interruption to the power supply (including manually switching off at the main switch) the oven will not operate until the clock is reset.
Here’s how to set the clock:
First press simultaneously the first two buttons to the left of the control panel. They are marked as a Bell symbol (Alarm) , and a steaming Cooking Pot (Start of Cooking Time). Then immediately press the plus “+” or minus “-“ buttons to increase or decrease the time displayed. When the desired time has been reached, leave it for a few seconds, and it will remain set at this time. Any further changes to the displayed time will require this procedure to be repeated.
Hope this helps!
