Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop the drivers you that require that matches theWindows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link to get to theAcer support: - http://www.acersupport.com/drivers_download.aspx
Please connect the laptop to an external monitor. If no flickering on
monitor screen, from my previous experience, this is more likely loose
connection of video cable connected to the LCD. So talk to Acer support
again and require the replacement of LCD.
I have an Acer 5920G that's only 3 months old and it's screen started flickering. Updating or rolling back the graphics card driver made no difference. I then updated the Chipset driver from the Acer website. It hasn't flickered since! The graphics info has to pass through the chipset so I assume the driver wasn't up to the job.
