SOURCE: need a disassembly guide for lnr328w

You can buy the servive manual from the same samsungparts.com Web site. I have one and I am working on my TV now. Here is the Short list:

1) Disconnect all cables and power. Place the TV face down on a soft surface. (Blanket, Pad, etc.)
2) Remove the 4 screws in the base if it is installed, and then slide the base off.
3) Remove the 8 or 9 screws around the edge of the back cover.
4) The cover "snaps into place" so you will need to carefully pry the back cover off and set it aside.
5) Disconnect all cables on the Power Board and remove the 6 screws that attach it.

Assembly is just the reverse of the above.

Good Luck!

My samsung tv model lnr328w does not display a picture although it does have sound.

If the unit turns on right away with sound you most likely have a defective inverter board but Samsung TV's have a lot of issues with defective capacitors. I the back was removed and a person was to look at the power supply they might see swollen capacitors especially one's labeled 1000 mfd 25 volt but there could be others. I have also seen several Samsung models with on open 2.5 amp pico or chip mount fuse that is open on the inverter board.

Thanks for taking my question,my sister gave me her 40"

Clicking noise and tv does not start. Most of the times it is the power supply board which is found defective. But I have found Main board also responsible for this problem. Please consult some qualified technician.

Samsung LN46A650 that cycles on and off with no picture. The red light flashes in the lower right hand corner. Still no picture. Have to unplug power supply to turn it off.

Turn it on and let it run for about 30 seconds. If it still doesn't work... unplug it, wait 15 minutes, plug it back in, then try again. If that doesn't work, you might want to contact Samsung to see if it needs repaired or replaced.

Television began making a loud audio noise and the picture went purple

Does your TV make a "whining, whirling, clicking, or humming noise?" If the TV have the infamous blinking lights problem , it's most likely a problem with your color wheel. The Samsung BP96-00674A color wheels spin anywhere from 6,000 to 15,000 revolutions per minute (RPM’s)--It is one of the few consumable parts in your Samsung TV. The average life expectancy from our data logging shows the Samsung color wheels are fairly reliable with a MEAN average of 5-8 years. Its basically in charge of creating the colors .God bless you here;s how to take it out and replace it: http://guides.fixyourdlp.com/samsung/bp96-01579a.php
