Nope, still didn't work. Much cleaner print heads though! I guess this is a bigger problem?

Remove the Print ink cartriges. Get a new bottle of windex and using a eye dropper place some windex on the post where the ink sits. also place some windex on the area that the printer uses to clean the print heads. leave it for an hour or two, You might have to do this several times. If problem persists do above treatment and leave over night. Hope this helps.

Your printer appears to have hit he "ink overflow protection counter" meaning that it thinks the waste ink pads in the base are full.

If the printer is in warranty, get Epson out to it. If not you can sort the error yourself using the rescue kit for the CX6600 available here: http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/2379162-stylus-cx6600-rescue-kit-zip

Epson Stylus CX6600 All in One

I had the same problem that was similar where it would get to 16% of the document and then say that the printer is not responding. I unplugged the USB and plugged it back in and that fixed it, but it did the same thing about a month ago.

My Epson Styluss CX6600 won't charge

This may be very simple. Turn the unit off and lift up the top. On the forward side of the unit you will find a little 'slider switch'. This is the scanner unlock - toggle the switch back and forth several times and leave in the unlock position. Turn on the printer and all will be well.
