Question about LG VX8300 Cellular Phone
My LG8300 (18 months old) was working fine yesterday.
This morning I heard it vibrating and the main display was blank when I opened it to answer. It continued to vibrate continuously. It did not stop even after holding the Red End button to turn it off so I popped out the battery. I reinserted the battery, then I powered on the phone and the screen worked for long enough to check a text message and reply to it then the display started coming in and out and went blank. The outer smaller screen works fine. WHe I open the pohne sometimes the main screen flashes on briefly. it is now blank most of the time
Sounds like water damage. Are there any red stickers under the battery? If so, then it is water damaged.
Either way, if you are the primary line then Verizon may offer you an early upgrade if your rateplan is above a certain price point (if that's who your on). If not, you can do an insurance claim, if you don't have insurance then you will have to either pay full price for a new one, or purchased a used one.
Hope this helps,
