Hi, my brother printer keep showing Machine error 46 unable to clean. Thanks

Disconnect the machine from the power for several minutes, then reconnect it. (The machine can be turned off for approximately 24 hours without losing faxes stored in the memory. If the machine will be off longer than 24 hours, you can transfer faxes to another fax machine or you can save the faxes in your PC.
Found on page 101 of the manual at the link below.

Hope this solves your issue.

Trying the set up the fax operation for the bizhub C250. I am unable to send or recieve faxes.

I need to know what you did to set it up.The set up goes like this,
1) install card
2) go into service mode
3) touch system 2===option board status===fax (main)===end
4) touch system 1===marketing area===fax target==US=push end twice
5) touch initialization==fax function and communication==yes=yes
6) turn off and on
push the off hook to see if you get a dial tone. If you don't get one check the phone line

Disabling the fax function

You can set the fax portion of the machine to manual receive like this:
"User tools"
"fax features" ok
"reception settings" ok
"switch reception mode" ok
"Manual reception" ok
"user tools" to exit
Thia will prevent the machine from picking uo any incoming faxes

....However, if the machine is jamming trying to print a 'fax' report, it will jam regardless of the feature you are using -they are unrelated. Depending on the cause of the jam, it could be a specific tray that is causing the problem, so you may want to remove the paper from that tray, and see how it works. The other reason, that is common for jams from one particular tray is that the size is set incorrectly. Check that the paper size dial on the tray is set for the appropriate size in the tray (including orientation).

If none of this helps, please describe the location of the jams, and I may be able to give further advice.

Can't send fax

Greetings,

Seems that you accidentally ended the chat session.

Here's what i got, your phone service is on VOIP

VoIP is voice transmission over a broadband Internet connection instead of a standard phone line. Basically, Vonage converts your voice into data and sends it like an email.

Fax machines, like yours, are designed to work with the regular phone lines. As your phone line is digital, the functionality of your all-in-one printer & fax cannot be guaranteed.

Vonage also offers a dedicated fax service and you might want inquire them about that.

Keep us posted and thank you for using our service.
