Picture on my WT-46809 not centered

How do I adjust the centering (alignment) of the picture on my screen. I recently had the convergence chips replaced. The convergence is fine, but the picture is off center to the right.

Can I diagonally adjust (clockwise/counterclockwise) my Mitsubishi DLP TV? The picture is off center

You need to align the optics mechanically. If you changed the dlp chip and its not centered then the chip is not shimmed properly or the reflection mirror behind the lens needs adjustment. You should get a service manual for that chassis and follow the directions. there may be an electronic method but I am not aware of one.

Tv out of foucs

These procedures are from the owners manual, go into menu and then picture quality and then: Convergence The Convergence feature lets you adjust the TV’s three tubes. When the TV tubes’ images are precisely aligned, they create the color images you see on the screen. Over time, the picture can drift out of alignment (this is normal). If your picture seems fuzzy or has a yellow tint, using Convergence could correct this misalignment. Only one convergence is needed for all inputs, regardless of the signal format. Note: Make sure the TV has been on for at least 30 minutes (TV needs to warm up for best results) before starting Auto Converge or Red/Blue Centering. When you select the Convergence feature, a submenu appears with three options: Auto Converge Automatically aligns the projection lenses to self-correct color images. You’ll see flashing squares of color dance across the screen (this is normal). Note: After performing auto convergence, use the Blue Centering and Red Centering menus to fine tune convergence in the center of the screen, if necessary. Blue Centering Aligns the blue and green images to fine-tune the picture. Red Centering Aligns the red and green images to fine-tune the picture. Note: The ability to change channels is disabled when adjusting the convergence options. The TV must be tuned to a usable signal to converge the picture.

My Tv has red light (color) out of focus..I've tried tuning the lance but it's not the problem in the's something else..don't know you?

Your TV has three picture tubes which are aligned to properly converge the projected light beams on the screen. Each picture tube projects a single color of Blue Green or Red. During production your TV was carefully adjusted to properly align these colors. As a feature you have the ability to adjust these colors.thats called convergence.If you don't have a manual to show you how to adjust you can find one here

Convergence on kdp-65ws550

Good Day, s_d_duncan;

The board for this 2001 Model is no longer available. Now, if you can solder, you can repair yourself. The parts you will need are two STK 392-570 (HIC), convergence IC's, part number 270P150010.

If you can't replace yourself, please call an authorized service center to give an estimate....

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Good Day y'all;
When the is picture being intermittent and bowing then the most common problem is that the convergence circuit has failed or is failing. If you don't get fixed, the will go DOA soon.
