If you forget your unlock code: At the Enter Unlock Code prompt, try entering 1234 or the last four digits of your phone number. If that doesn't work, press - and enter your 6-digit security code instead.
NOTE: Your phone's 4-digit unlock code is originally set to 1234. The 6-digit security code is originally set to 000000.
You may contact to your carrier provider Samsung Star GT-S5233 Unlock Code, they can open up all networks for you where you want to use your phone. I suggest to visit Samsung Unlock Code site, they will provide you an accurate code with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any networks worldwide without sticking to one network only.
Hope it helps.
Many people never program a password code to "Unlock" this phone, but can lock themselves out by pressing the # key for more than three seconds. I know, it happened to me when I was out of town and needed the phone to work! Anyway, press the button to the right of the large round button at the top of the keypad, you will get a prompt to enter the four digit "Unlock" code. The default from Verizon, and most likely the factory default from LG, is the last four digits of your cell number. Did this work for you too?
