Hi, if the doors have to be removed lets check for somethimg more simple. slide the frige out from the wall and check to see if the pan can be removed from the rear. also some units have a heater in the pan to evaporate the water. i would not think you would have to remove the doors to get to the pan.

I suggest you get a handful of charcoal and place it on a small bowl, then put it inside your refrigirator. The charcoals will absorb the smell from your refrigirator. It is more effective than baking soda and coffee. :)

The drain is at the bottom inside the freezer section. It is possible a
piece of something got behind a panel, or otherwise in a "hidden" spot.
Or something is in the defrost water tray underneath and every time it
defrosts, it gets wet and releases the odor again. Look in the drain
pan by removing the kick plate (bottom grate under the doors) and look to see if anything is there. Use a few open boxes of
baking soda in the fridge (to absorb odors), and wipe the inside with
some vanilla extract. that combination will help with the odor. But the
source of the odor needs to be removed first. It sometimes can be hard to find.
you do have a switch at the top door hinge . make the phillip screw are tight at the top of the door . if they are loose the door will not align in order make contact with that switch. or you may have a faulty light switch
My husband just figured out how to disable the buzzer/alarm!! Here's what to do: pry forward the front display panel (on the front of the freezer door) with a screwdriver (you don't have to remove it all the way, just pry it forward). Then, behind the very upper left corner of the display panel you will see the round, quarter size, black Piezo buzzer. Just pry in there with flat screwdriver or some forceps to free the buzzer from the tiny silver wires that hold it in place. PRESTO. PIECE OF MIND AT LAST!
