Kenmore 80 - in mid spin cycle the machine tripped GFI

Maching was working fine. All of a sudden in mid spin cycle the electric goes out only in that room. After some investigation, found out it was washer causing GFI to trip. I thought maybe it was that outlet, but it tripped the GFI on all outlets in the room.

How can I fix the LED monitor so the cycles do not change mid cycle?

It sounds like a control problem. I assume it is electronic, and if so try another control board but be sure you can return it if it does not solve your problem.

Gfi outlet trips right before the final spin cycle. This is on a top load kenmore 80 series washer. I replaced the timer but the problem still exists. The timer seems to be in a pause mode. In other words,...

Motor driven appliances can trip GFI outlets when there is no problem at all with the appliance. When a large motor first starts, it draws more current for a short time and some GFI outlets will trip (others may not).

Are GFI outlets required by code in your state/county for washing machines? If not, replace the GFI with a standard outlet. If so, replace GFI with a higher quality GFI outlet.

Why does he GE profile top load washer trip my GFI circut half way thru it's scan cycle

Earth leak either due to water in something or a ground fault in the motor is my guess. It may even be a motor windings fault that is building up resistance as it warms up. You need a service engineer with a good test meter,

Kenmore washer series 80, Clothes still soapy

If you are getting no water spray during the rinse cycle that would cause the soapy clothes issue.

Are you getting cold water during the wash/rinse cycles? If you have the machine set to warm/warm you may only be getting hot water while the final spin is calling for cold.

If you have cold water available then the timer is not calling for the water spray. The problem is either in the mixing valve or the timer.
