Lens blurred

To come closer to the colprit, if you shoot a picture and you put it on a PC (tablet) does the picture still look blurred?
If it does, the most likely is the image sensor or the lens are broke. If the picture is ok on the PC, only the display is bad.
Are you sure you don't see anything on the lens? Is perhaps a little dent on the outside visable? That could be caused by a fall with the lens outside the body.

Anything falling out of the inside of your camera is not a good sign, since it is new, I would have it exchanged as soon as possible for being defective.

My Canon Rebel will not autofocus. It takes pictures just fine with manual focus. I see several posts about this and no solutions other than the user doesn't know how to take a picture. We've had the...

A few suggest about this problem. First in manual or auto focus mode does the green in focus confirmation light come on in the lower right corner of the viewfinder? Are you shooting in One Shot-AF, have you selected an Auto Focus Point are your pictures in focus? I know you've been using this camera for 2 years and these questions you need to ask yourself. If that green confirmation light comes on then the picture will be in focus. a few things that will mess up focus are little or no contrast. No contrast like huge expanses of water, sky, glass or infinity will render a auto focus system near useless. Something that is good is that you haven't said anything about error codes which is good. These questions my sound lame but ask yourself this when was the last time I cleaned the lens (Front Element) use a lens cloth for this and huff on it if a little moisture is needed. Do you change lenses often and when was the last time you checked your sensor for dirt? If you have had the lens off you should check the rear lens element for finger prints or oil. A dirty rear lens element will cause everything to look as if it's shot in a dream world. Check your camera sensor buy taking a (manual) focus shot of a piece of clear blue sky download it to the computer increase the size to 100% and check out the blue for dirt. A camera that's two years old and used "normally" may need the sensor cleaned. But go back to this infocus light if it's coming on and the pictures are out of focus then you have another problem as in dirt.
Hope this was a little insight into your problem

Hi, i was wondering if you know how to restore my sony cyber-shot DSC-t77 to its factory settings? My camera use to take really good pictures but now the pictures are all blurr you cant tell what they...

It's a lens problem - the lens sometimes gets debris in between and does not extend out enough to take clear pictures or the lens is crooked from impact or damage. As for the touch screen and not being able to read the menu on your screen, that's also damage. Don't think factory settings will fix this problem. Did you try troubleshooting on google for your camera - maybe they have some fix it suggestions.

Turn the mode dial to M for Manual. You'll lose all through-the-lens metering capability, so you'll have to review your pictures or else use another light meter.

Camera takes every otehr picture

the lens contacts are probably dirty so,
  1. Get a pencil with an eraser on the end, Detach the lens from the camera, hold it so that the lens’ gold contacts are pointing down and lightly erase their exposed surface, cleaning them of anything that may have coated them making the contact poor.Lightly dust the contacts with a small paintbrush to remove any loose dirt.
  2. Do the same thing with the gold contacts inside the camera body. This is a little more difficult.: just hold camera so lens opening points down so no gunk falls in. Erase lightly.Use a lens cloth or paint brush to remove dirt.
  3. PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP THE CAMERA POINTING DOWN, AND THE SAME WITH THE LENSES AND O0NLY GENTLY RUB THE CONTACTS TO PREVENT DIRT INGRESS INTO THE CAMERA OR LENS

It is possible you have the display turned off... Some cameras allow you to do this to save battery.
