Question about Canon LaserCLASS Fax 710 Printer
I can Fax, I can copy, I can see when fax is trying to go through (memory light is blinking) but it does not print actual fax. On the sending end it gives an error. So fax is not going through.
This fax machine in on VOIP line.
It sounds like you need to adjust down the connection speed, and turn off error correction.
I'm not sure if it's the same as on the MF4270 I own, but on my machine you enter service menu by hitting "additional functions" followed by the pound sign. From there you can click through the options to find the transmit and receive speed options, and error correction mode option. The only real trick is entering service mode.

Line noise could cause trouble. I don't know if this unit supports VOIP phone lines. Many fax units require a genuine analog line or something that reproduces an analog phoneline.
Can you test the unit with a genuine analog line?
