The bike engine has become cold.ask someone to push from behind while you sit and try kick-starting it.do this for several times.if you have failed and want to end up then go to any mechanic.i think this will work.

My ER5 Clicks instead of turns on

Check if the battery has 12 volts.
Check the battery terminals if they are corroded with acid deposit. Clean them if they are, by using a wet sponge, wet it with water and let it stay for a while on the terminals this will ease off the corroded acid deposits.
If the battery is ok and if there's no acid deposit on the terminals , thn you have to check the starter motor, it may need to be overhauled.
Better too to check the solenoid switch.
Hope this helps!

My 05 r1 temp gauge says high but it hasnt been started for 2 days. it also wont start i got a new battery but it still wont go

Sounds like the temp sending unit went bad and when they do it wont let the bike start cause if it goes bad while riding and the temperature goes up the computer shuts the bike down before you over heat the engine and trash it. Try disconnecting the battery and reconnect it after you replace the Temp sending unit.

Engine seized?

First thing to do is make sure it's the kick starter that has seized and not the engine. Take the cover off the end of the crankcase and try to turn the crankshaft. Apparently these engines were notorious for doing bottom ends. Start pulling it down and see what you find..

Setting valve clearances 04 V11

I learned how to set the tappits myself 4yrs ago I brought a VTR1000 and never needed to set anything 2yrs ago I went back to MG... brought the V11 nero Corsa and for those 2yrs the shop has done my maintance. However the warantee is now up so I might as well go back to servicing the bike myself. Fill in the blanks please people, whats the clearances? which markings on the flywheel do I use for which cyl's? rotate the crank which direction? anything else I need to know? ,The left side is marked S and the right is marked D. Rotate the crankshaft clockwise when looking at the front of the motor. The valve clearances are .1 mm inlet and .15 mm exhaust in Australia, I think the yankee ones are tighter? Watch the inlet valve close when rotating the motor, then find the top dead centre mark s or d, soon to appear in the window. That is the adjusting position.Or use a broom handle down the plug hole to find TDC. ,,,
