Ahh - Parallels is working but can't locate the disk image for XP (assuming) that was created by Apple's BootCamp.

Locate the image "disk0.hdd". Once found, copy it to your "Documents/Parallels/My Boot Camp/ " folder (you're logged in on the Mac as jeremybrunelle right ?)

Want to upgrade my HP TouchSmart IQ504 Desktop PC 2.0GHz processor for a 3.1 ghz ?

First, have you ever changed/upgraded a CPU? It take quite a bit of research to upgrage. If you look at this spec of the Mobo your options are very limited, The Mobo only supports 2 different type Processors, 1, Core 2 Duo (Merom); http://ark.intel.com/products/codename/2683/Merom , 2 Core 2 Duo (Penryn): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penryn_(microprocessor) If you have a 64bit OS consider a memory upgrade, if you haven't already. How can I boost up mac mini 2007

Your best bet beyond maxing out memory will be upgrading to an SSD. Depending on your operating system and versions of installed software, try using a program like XSlimmer to remove any powerpc files included in universal bundles.

I have been given a acer aspire L320 BUT THERE IS NOT A PROCESSOR IN IT. what i want to know is what processor fits.it

The Acer Aspire L320 can take 3 different processors

1. Intel Core 2 Duo

Dual Core chip with speeds from 1.8Ghz to 3.3 Ghz

2. Intel Celeron D

Dual Core chip with speeds from 1.6Ghz to 2.7Ghz

3. Intel Pentium 4

Single core chip with speeds from 1.3Ghz to 3.8Ghz

The Core 2 Duo 3.3 Ghz is the most expensive and Pentium 4 1.3 Ghz the cheapest.

Some more information is available on the Intel website, links are below:

http://www.intel.com/products/processor/core2duo/mobile/index.htm

Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fixya.

Can i up grade my single core cpu pen4 550 3,4GHz to a Quad core or dual core either one would help

Depends on the socket type.. Socket 423 and 478 do not support core duo or quad core processor types. However, if you have LGA 775 (aka socket T) your motherboard will support the following:
Intel Pentium 4 (2.60 - 3.80 GHz)
Intel Celeron D (2.53 - 3.60 GHz )
Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition (3.20 - 3.73 GHz)
Intel Pentium D (2.66 - 3.60 GHz)
Pentium Extreme Edition (3.20 - 3.73 GHz)
Pentium Dual-Core (1.40 - 3.33 GHz)
Intel Core 2 Duo (1.60 - 3.33 GHz)
Intel Core 2 Extreme (2.66 - 3.20 GHz)
Intel Core 2 Quad (2.33 - 3.00 GHz)
Intel Xeon (1.86-3.40 GHz)
Intel Celeron (1.60 - 2.40 GHz)
