Low flame

turn everything off and disconnect the regulator from the gas tank
turn the bbq on high, every valve on high.
leave it like that for 3 minutes.
turn all the valves to off -- completely off.
reconnect the LP cylinder but turn the valve on very, very slowly for the first full 360 degrees.

that is the process for resetting the check valve safety feature which gets triggered by mistake from the presure of a full cylinder with the OPD flaot pressing on the liquid.

A complete new valve assembly isn't very expensive and you can often get one on eBay with a new generator included. It's not worth servicing the old valve given the safety implications of leaking fuel.

Hi my coleman 533 has orange flame not blue it has good pressure i have taken jet of end of generator and cleaned it

Orange or yellow flame is usually an indication of too much fuel, or not enough air mixture. Make sure all areas where burners would receive air from, are cleaned of spider webs, debris etc., and be sure when set up, nothing is close to it that would block that air flow from entering.

The canister doesn't seem to be pressurizing after pumping steadily for 1 minute

on some models you need to rotate the plunger to engage the seal then pump it.

My coleman 424 stove has been sitting in shed for a coulpe of years, now got it out again. Filled with petrol when pumped up I can light it but flame only lasts a few minutes then it dies as if no...

My best answer is that your pump seals have dried out and are allowing pumped up pressure to leak back past the pump seal
Try this: DO NOT LIGHT THE STOVE
Pump it up hard then quickly attach a small balloon with a rubber band around the base of the pump - where it contacts the tank. A deflated balloon or a small plastic baggie - does the balloon begin to fill with air after a few minutes - if yes then your seal is leaking.
You might try taking the pump apart and soaking the seal overnight in fuel reinstall and see if it cores your problem
Good Luck

Unable to install tank due to generator is not at

If this is a new unit I would return it and ask for help. If you try bending it and break it its then you have a real problem.

Coleman 424 Dual Fuel -- High, yellow flame

Are you pumping the tank up all the way? I have the same problem if I have too little pressure in the tank. The instructions say pump 35 times. Try pumping 50 or 60 times- that seems to help.

Also, you can't light this one like an old 425. My old stove you could turn the gas on and then take a match neat the burner. For this stove, hold the match near the burner with the gas off and quickly turn it on.

These are two things that seemed to help me with the same problem.
