Iron-on paper size is A4. Use Plain Paper for the type.

Important: Image will end up backwards when ironed if the Photo Options screen does not have an option to FLIP the image.

To be 100% sure (can't cope up with all models released in the market), give HP a quick call, you know exactly what feature you by now. Have the rep get the model and look for the option.

as a paper profile when loading use a paper that is nearest to the paper type being printed- EG- plastic sheets would become Vinyl paper/ transparency or banner profile.#
alternatively go to HP website and then to paper profiles and download the ICC profiles required follow the user manual to install to printer.

I have an HPPhotosmart C5280. I want to print on an evelope 8.2 x 5.5 for a wedding invitation. The printer tells me paper mismatch every time I try it. I set it up every time on the computer, it prints...

The easiest way to print an envelope is to use Microsoft Word. If you have the software installed, go to start and then create new office document and click blank document. When the document opens, click on help and type in envelope. This will give you instructions on how to create an envelope and save a copy to your document. When you save a copy to your document, it gives you a picture of an envelope which helps to create it. Then click on file, and slide down the print and click ok. Creating the envelope through Word helps to change the printers paper settings. Word will send a signal to the printer to tell it what type of paper and size of envelope you are creating.

Hope this helps?

If you printer support that specification of paper it will print on it. You have to select appropriate paper type from printer settings.

I was wondering if this printer can print on iron on transfer paper?

This is a direct quote from HP.

Media Types, "Paper (plain, inkjet, photo), envelopes, transparencies, labels, cards, HP's premium media, iron-on transfers, borderless media, panorama"
So to answer your question, it would be yes.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Iron on transfers lexmark x1290

In your printer driver, select the highest dpi setting and the correct paper setting for your type of printer:

Iron-ons are very waxy and the ink may not adhere if not put on thickly. Bellow are some suggested printer settings. For the best results check your printer manual or with your printer's manufacture. CANON: T-shirt transfers.
EPSON: High quality glossy paper or special coated paper, depending on the model.
HEWLETT-PACKARD: High quality glossy paper.
Lexmark: T-shirt transfers.
IMPORTANT: Then set the paper thickness lever on your printer for standard paper. You want the ink nozzles very close to the page.
