I need someone who actually knows about audio and particularly MOTU microbook and headphones. I do voice transcription through headphones and am looking for clarity in audio but also a little bit of...

The realtek chip should come with the HD audio manager in the control panel if the drivers were installed correctly.
You'll want to check and make sure the equalization (under the sound effects tab) is set to none, or possibly to treble (I had to use the treble setting on mine if using a sound system with a subwoofer).
Another trick to raise the frequency of the audio is to raise the "Karaoke setting which will pitch shift all frequencies upward.

How to get help about technolgy

If you are struggling to find some information of how something works, or why you cannot get something to work, use my friend he is the greatest Google
the reason is if you are stuck with something so is someone else and the more common the question the more results there are out there.
My second place to go is YouTube
I get some many calls about some of the most basic set-up problems and if I don't know the answer I go to one of my friends above!
There are some cool people out there that like to make videos about how stuff works and how they have got some thing to work etc.
If you cannot find what you are looking for at first try changing what it is you are entering in to the search box. make it more specific.
So if you have an Android phone and want to add a wifi connection - state something like
"how to add wifi connection on Android phone version 4.4.2" or if it is a smasung galaxy ace phone try
"how to add wifi connection to Samsung Galaxy ace"
I hope you get the picture
I use these two sites for a whole bunch of things, including question I would not ask someone in person for fear of laughter!

Asus maximus formula

Yea- its really simple with the Maximus Formula's (well.. I have a Maximus II Formula....)

Under the BIOS, you should have a tab called "extreme tweaker" or something similar. Go under that and there should be a nice CPU level up option. For example, mine has 3 options: (i have an E8400)
1.) Auto
2.) E8500
3.) Crazy

Another solution is to get the ASUS utility called CPU Level Up. It installs under windows, and lets you switch your CPU settings easily. Although this may be a Republic of Gamers specific utility.. not sure.

Adding memory and bios upgrading

hey man, I checked the asrock website

Support DDR-II 667/533/400,
If your going to keep the 533mhz memory in your pc, then I recommend you get another 533mhz, becouse if you get a 667mhz the 667 will run as 533mhz becouse the 533mhz memory is slowing it down.

If you need more assistance let me know, I'm here to help

Jumpers problem

170dd8e.jpg This is a jpg of a modern board. Your board may have more pins. The concept is close. Any difference would be located at the Power led. Your's could be three pins & the speaker could be three pins & neither connector would use the middle hole. I suggest you plug in one connector at a time with a boot up in between. Start with the power switch. Testing is simple, press the case power on button. Pc starts your good no light? Turn the connector around & try again. Next plug in the IDE led. Check for light on power up. Most boards, old & new keep their negetive facing to your right. These negetive wires are colored black & wihte. Positive wires are colored green, blue & red. As long as you do 1 connector at a time you should not have a problem. These are all very low voltage, most just leds. Take your time. It will work out.
