Question about Motorola Talkabout FRS 250 (14 Channels) 2-Way Radio
It was working fine yesterday but when i went hunting this morning i cannot transmit or hear anyone in my party talking. the battery indicator was showing one bar so I cahnged the batteries thinking that it would solve the problem. The battery bars are at three now but when i try to talk all it does is make one long beeping noise as long as I hold the button in.
The radio has possibly been damp or wet. Take the battery pack out of the radio and allow the radio to dry, or to speed the process try using a blow dryer on a low setting.
Check your programming and be certain your large and small numbers match one another when you get ready to try the radio again.
Here is a manual which most closely matches your radio type: http://www.usersmanualguide.com/motorola/2-way_radio/t280
