need to change your filter cartridge. your water might be of poor quality and you could need another not so fine filter in front of the filter you have. this will also give you a longer life to the filter you have now. another problem could be that your aerator is blocked. it is found on the end of the spout where the water comes out. unscrew it and check that there is no dirt or foreign material here.
Kathryn, the kink could restrict flow of water because there is so much less room. To remove the kink you could try pressing the two sides of the kink BUT that is risky. Have a replacement ready in case you damage it further. DO ALL THIS WITH WATER SHUT OFF. If you manage to straighten the kink even a bit more, water will flow better.GL
filter screen is usually just under where the water comes out. Cover drain so any parts do not get lost down drain. Just unscrew it counter-clockwise to loosen it up. Remove screen and clean by flashing water in bathroom sink until screen holes are clear. then re-install and tighten in clock-wise direction. All done after you check that water comes out again.
A lot of the soaps and things that we put into our sinks can cause tiny scratches into the glaze. That's what is causing the "haze" you are describing. It's not something that can be lifted off but might be buffed out. I would recommend contacting Kohler and asking if the sink can be buffed successfully. They may be able to give you some contact numbers of people that can repair the sink if it can be. I wish I could offer some more advice but you might be heading towards a replacement instead. Good luck to you!
Pegasus is Home Depot own brand of bath room fixture. The contact number should be on the installation instruction or the warranty sheet.
you shold contact Home Depot if you cna't find the contact number.
Your question is: You have a reverse osmosis water filter. The other day water production went from over a gallon of filtered water to 3/4 of a cup. You changed the filters thinking that may be the problem, but that did not solve anything. What else could be wrong with it?
This is a common problem. Can also be very frustrating. A small bit of debrie has been brought up by the flowing water and is stuck somewhere. As you can imagine this will restrict the flow. I would start with the on/off valve next to the cold water line first. Turn the water off first and take it apart checking for obstructions. Then work your way down checking the lines and any place you can. It's helpfull to have a bit of wire to probe with. If you turn it back on and the problem still persists then you missed it. Try again. Good luck.
