Question about Televison & Video
Replacing the lens alone is only psiible if u know how to take it apart and put it back just the way it was. And it has fine ribbon cables too, U should be careful.
U cud get a lens from a used one but a new one is not possible since sony does not sell the optical pickup buy it's self in these models. I can get a new lens, but it comes with the lens, plus everything u get on that block, meaning the housing with the two motors.
Buying a new one is upto u since I donno where u are, the cost is around 100 USD for us in Maldives but it will be much cheaper in the rest of the world. If u can try googling for the replacmetnt lens block, sometimes this hels on how to get ur hands on an new one.
