Make sure the printer is ON.

Open the top of the printer.

The cartridges are inside the cartridge carrier. You need to squeeze the tabs on the carrier which will flip up the lids to reveal the ink cartridges.

For reference, here are links to the setup sheet and the user guide. The setup sheet has pictures that should help.

How can I fix my printer problem? after changing my ink cartridge it stills tells me that the cartridge is empty and to load a new one. There is ink spilled inside the cabinet

I have had this problem HP as well.

Be sure the protective cover on the bottom of the cartridge has been removed.

Some printers have a "sensor" built into the cartridge that "tells" the printer when it is empty. If you are using a generic cartridge that might also be a problem.

Hope this helps.

I've changed my ink and now the printer wont print. It say's black ink cartridge needs changing, but I already changed it so I click ok and press start. then it goes back to saying the same thing. Tried...

Ink level data is stored in a chip of the cartridge. Once the cartridge is empty, ink low message will appear eventhough you refill the cartridge. You need to deactivate ink level detection function to continue printing in case of usage of refill ink .

Open this link to Kodak's 5300 help page. Halfway down of the left is the "chat online" link. Open the link and tell them your problem. I have found that they are more than willing to help you. Give it a try. Here's your link: http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn033540.jhtml?p-q-path=9104

Hi, my faxes continue to be stored in memory despite changing the ink cartridge. Previously changing the ink cartridge would resolve this. How do I get them to automatically print once again???

I am going to tell you something and please do not hit me, but, to reset the problem, all you have to do is unplug the printer from it's power source, let it set for 22 minutes and the memory chip will reset, this will thus clear the problem. IF it does not, please write back to me and I will be glad to go further if needed. Take care..... Guy :)

This is my first time changing the ink and i cant seem to find the instructions. I don't know how to change the ink. Please help

Check this article(How to Set Up the Lexmark X3600 or X4600 Series All-In-One) from the Lexmark website: http://bit.ly/cI3Ekr. Scroll down and go to Step 9 for the instructions on how to install/replace the cartridges. Printer should be on.
Sometimes the ink cartridge carrier won't position automatically to the middle even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the solid white strip and gently slide the carrier to the middle of the printer. Load the cartridges. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to power source.

Bad printing after changing 2 inks also clicking noise not before

shouldn't be the ink. I assume you have an epson as in the picture. my ink refill kit mentions that "epson intellidge chipped cartridges" require an "ink level resetter" to complete the kit. So if you have these cartridges even once refilled the chip tells the printer the cartridge is still empty so you'll need to reset the chip with the ink level resetter.

Ink changing

Click HERE for the User's manual.

See page 34 on the manual to see how to replace the inks. There's also illustrations and explanations on how to get the ink chamber to the center so you can replace it.

How do i change cartridges in epson stylus sx205?

The SX205 is a bit of a pain to use. There doesn't seem to be a way of changing an ink cartridge unless the printer decides it wants to let you. I managed it by employing fairly brutal tactics. I opened the lid to expose the works, switched the printer on, and with my finger over the switch at the mains socket I waited while the printer went through its start-up procedure, then when the ink carrier was in the right position to make a change, I quickly switched the power off. You have to be really quick to catch it in the right position, and you might need to try more than once to get it right. After changing the cartridge, I switched the mains back on, then switched the printer back on, and everything worked OK after that. It seems crazy that Epson hasn't incorporated a way of doing this into the design. Its certainly the worst Epson printer I have owned from the point of view of ease of use. Photos from it aren't very good either. Dinty

Kodak 5300 aio change inks

When you turn the printer off and back on you should hear a noise, when you lift the lid the cartridges moving to the center so you can replace them.
