HI,
Disconnect the speakers fist. then check the amplifier light flashing or not. If not then then any of the speaker is faulty. If the amplifier's Light flashing even after removing the speakers then any one of the amplifier stage inside the amp is faulty. By blinking it shows that its in protection mode.

Normally the out put transistor can become faulty. Which can lead to the amplifier to protection mode to avoid damages to the speakers connected to it.

If its not speakers then you should consult the Alpine service centre or any professional technician. Because repairing such type of amplifier should done by a very qualified person. If not it will lead major defects which will make the amplifier scrap.

About Power supply wires (MRP-M1000 only)

• 21mm2 is the minimum power and ground cable size

that should be used to connect this amplifier. The

length of these cables should not exceed 1m to assure

safe operation.

• If the length of the power and ground cables exceed

1m, or if you connect more than one amplifier, a distribution

block should be used with 33mm2 or 53mm2

power and ground cables depending on the length

necessary. Ensure that you install a correctly-rated

in-line fuse on the power cable near the battery positive

post.

What transistor would be the replacement for the small transistor in my alpine mpr-m1000 called D600k Y 834? Where could I get it and what would it be called?

The transistor is LIKELY a 2SD600 which google brings up data sheets for you.
It is an Epitaxial NPN 100/120 volt 1 amp transistor, but do check the datasheet for verification.

A lot of these units seem to drop the 2S prefix of the Japanese labels.

Trace a lttle of the circuit and verify the 2SD600 makes sense.

I have two type-rs hooked up to a mrp-m1000 and its not hitting hard at all! but when one is hooked up it hits harder than two... so is it the way its hooked up or do i need another mrp-m1000 amp? or can i...

If the speakers are rated at 500W or greater, then you'll need two amps to get their full potential. When you connect two to a single 500W amp, each speaker only gets a max of 250W. Also, check the ohm rating for the outputs of the amp and the ohm rating of the speakers as well. Unmatches speaker/amp impendence also results in poor performance. If you connect two speakers to one terminal, the total impedence of the speakers falls by 1/2 (two 4 ohm speakers wire together will result in 2 ohm impedence). So, if you have an amp rated at 4 ohms, you could connect two 8 ohm speakers to a single output. Hope this helps some!

I have an alpine m1000 amp and the fuse in the wire from the battery to the amp keeps blowing. Does anyone have any ideas?

Check that you dont have a short on the main power cable from the positive of the battery too ground

If it only occurs when you connect the amplifier... then the amplifiers power supply has gone short curcuit.

Take amplifier into a qualified repairer and get it fixed
