Question about Tivo R54040 140-Hours Video Recorder
I have a Motorola 6416 DVR. All of a sudden, it will only play back recorded shows in Black/White. Live shows continue to be in color, but when I change channels, the new channel briefly (1-2 seconds) is in b/w before it changes to color. Is the only remedy for this a new dvr? If so, can the shows currently saved on my dvr be transferred to a new dvr?
No you can't transfer then to another hard drive because of the format they have been saved in, burn them to dvd if you can, try reset the machine to factory settings, this in theory should ironout any clitches
hope this helps
