I want to download my Quicken business credit card transactions from Chase into my Quickbooks 2006 for Mac software but Quickbooks won't let me. What do I do?

"from Chase" you mean online (internet) or from another computer (include computer specifics).

    Additional detail to help pin down what's causing the issue is needed.

    If Quicken won't let you perform such task, it will spit out a message explaining why or giving hint why the function is not successful.

Hi, Chase normally produces all statements in PDF format.
However, you can click "see all activity" to see all the transactions in the webpage.
Here, you can click "print" which is found on the top of the webpage (not the browser menu).
It will open up a new window which shows only the transactions. Cancel if it asks you to print. Now Copy the transactions alone to a text file and convert to  csv file using MS Excel. If you can import this file directly to Quickbook 2006, it should be good.
Else, there are some softwares which does the excel to quickbook imports.

Quickbook normally takes only Manual entry for each transaction. But this one should be faster than entering all the transactions manually

    As we recently completed a system upgrade; you may need to modify certain information in your Quicken/QuickBooks software to ensure a smooth transition of your data.

    It is important that you perform the following instructions exactly as described and in the order presented.

    Quicken Windows 2007-2008
    Quicken Windows 2005-2006
    QuickBooks MAC 2006-2007
    QuickBooks Windows 2005–2007




    Instructions for Quicken Windows 2007-2008



    DEACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNTS



    1. Choose Online menu g One Step Update.


    2. In the One Step Update Settings dialog, uncheck any boxes that are checked, and then click Update Now.


    3. If a software update is available, then you will be prompted to apply it now.


    4. Once the update is complete, restart Quicken.


    5. Quicken banking customers: right-click your first account from the list under Cash Flow Center.


    6. Select Edit account from the pop-up menu


    7. In the Account Details dialog, click the Online Services tab.




    8. Click Remove Connection or Remove from One Step Update in the One Step Update area. Confirm the remaining prompts.


    9. Click the General Information tab. In the Financial Institution field, type the name of your financial institution. EDIT any account information that is changing.
    Click OK to close the Account Details dialog. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for each applicable account.





    REACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNTS


    1. Open a Web browser and log in to your financial institution’s Web site and download your transactions into Quicken.

      Important: To avoid the possibility of creating duplicate records when downloading into Quicken, select a "from" date that does not include records previously downloaded.


    2. Click the Use an existing Quicken account radio button. In the corresponding drop-down list, select the Quicken account.

    Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each account that you will use for online banking or investing.





    AUTOMATING YOUR WEB CONNECT DOWNLOADSExpress Web Connect provides the option of activating the One Step Update feature, which automates the downloading of Web Connect data. To activate the One Step Update feature, take either of these actions:

    • If you see the Activate One Step Update prompt during the Web Connect download process, click Yes, and then click Activate.
    • From Quicken, choose Online menu g One Step Update. In the dialog that displays, choose Activate One Step Update link next to your financial institution’s name.
    Once activated, you can choose Online menu g One Step Update to perform downloads.






    Instructions for Quicken Windows 2005-2006



    DEACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNTS


    1. Choose Online menu g One Step Update.


    2. Uncheck all boxes and click Update Now.


    3. If a software update is available, then you will be prompted to apply it now.


    4. Once the update is complete, you must restart Quicken.

    DISABLE YOUR ACCOUNT


    1. Choose Lists menu g Chart of Accounts.


    2. Select the account to disable in the Chart of Accounts list, and choose Edit menu g Edit Accounts.


    3. EDIT any account information that is changing.



    4. Click the Online Settings button.



    5. Select Not enabled from the Download transactions drop-down list.


    6. Click Save.
    Repeat steps 2 through 6 for each account from which you download transactions.





    RE-ENABLE YOUR ACCOUNT


    1. Re-enabling your account is as easy as downloading from the Web site. Anytime after the conversion, log in to the Web site and download and save your Web Connect file (.QBO file extension) to your Mac.

      Important: To avoid the possibility of creating duplicate records when downloading into QuickBooks, select a "from" date that does not include records previously downloaded.
      In QuickBooks, choose Banking menu g Downloaded Transactions. Click OK if any informational prompts display.


    2. In the Downloaded Transactions dialog, click Import File to import the account information contained in the Web Connect file that you saved. Select the Web Connect file, and click Open.



    3. The Account Association dialog displays during setup only. Click Select an Account to choose to map the online account to an existing account register. Then click Continue.


    4. Click OK to any informational prompts.

      Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each account that you previously disabled.


    5. Verify that all transactions downloaded successfully into your account registers.

Ok, there are a number of issues with you spelling so I am going to assume you meant the Ubuntu OS. If that is the case the Flash Player install is done by the following:

If you are using the more modern versions of Ubuntu, simply install the Adobe Flash application from Ubuntu Software Centre.

If you are using a version that does not support the Software Centre, try:

Go to the Adobe website.
  • Click on "Download the Latest Player," and choose ".deb for Ubuntu" from the drop down list.
  • Choose "Save File" from the pop up window.
  • Open a terminal window.
    The terminal window will be found under Applications -> Utilities.
  • Change to the directory where your downloaded file was saved.
    cd Download
  • Install the libcurl3 library: sudo apt-get install libcurl3
  • Install the Flash Player: sudo dpkg --install install_flash_player_<version>_linux.deb
    Replace <version> with the latest version number.
  • Restart Firefox.
  • Check that Flash Player was installed.

    Freezes on the warm boot screen MC9000


    This can be for a number of reasons.

    First thing would be to try and cold boot the device:-

    Remove battery half way, hold power button and trigger, push battery in fully until click and then release power and trigger

    If that fails next thing would be to try and re-flash the operating system. This is done by using an SD card and loading the latest operating files onto it. The SD card slot is located under the keypad. A cross head screwdriver is required to remove the keypad. Search on symbol software download site for the latest. The download also has a readme with detailed instructions. Once the files are on perform a cold boot.

    Remove battery half way, hold power button and trigger, push battery in fully until click and then release power and trigger. Drop the terminal in a cradle so that it runs on external power.
