Low heat coming from heater

Replaced the AC / Heater switch. Fan works AC works but I am not getting enou heat out of the heater. In fact it blows cool air when driving and fan is on Hi. I replaced the thermostat but it didn't change anything. Is there a vacuum hose that goes to the switch that might be off? What else can I check?
Thanks
Dave

Heater core may be clogged. disconnect the hoses. CUT THEM OFF THE HEATER CORE!!!! If you pull them you may damage the solder joints at the tubes causing a leak. Them connect a garden hose and flush one way then another till water runs clear.

Okay, new thought, Often the blend air door is either stuck or the vacuum diaphram that operates it is defective. Also, the pushbutton selector could be bad. Try this, get a length of vacuum hose. Disconnect the vacuum from the blend air door vacuum diaphram. place one end of the vauum hose on the diaphram the other to a vacuum source. see if the diaphram moves or if you get the desired reaction form your heater. If you get heat, the selector is probably bad. if not, it's the diaphram.

2001 Nissan Pathfinder AC works but no heat

The common issue here is a defective air temperature control heater/AC blend door actuator due to a warped and or jammed blend door.

Rear a/c heat vent do not work

Sounds like the flapper valve for the rear heater/AC core is not doing its job to send the air through the AC core when called for.

Another clue of this is the fact that the air is coming out on the lower vents when it should be up high fro AC.

Have someone listen back by the fan inlet in the back usually on the right while you switch between AC and heat to see if they hear any noise or change in air flow.

Worst case is that the interior panel there has to be removed to service the assembly behind it.

Heater not heating on 2002 suburban fan blows just does not heat up any ideas culd it be a relay switch

No, Relays control the fan running. But you said it is running. Low coolant level, clogged heater core or sticking temperature door could be the problem. Is the engine running at normal temp? Open thermostat could cause low temperature.

Can't shut off the heat

You didn't say which switch you were referring to. So, since you say the "heat" keeps blowing out, I asume that you do not mean the fan control only (which would simply indicate a faulty switch) but the "heater/AC temperature control". Check the vacuum lines (to heater and AC vent controls under hood first then under dash) for holes/cracks/breaks or if one may have come loose.

Heater

Try spinning the knob real fast in either direction. Sounds stupid but it worked for me.
