Good day,
my laptop dell inspiron I6400 touch pad is not working and i can not find any options from mouse on control panel and there is no any other option for touch pad
Unless there is not a hardware switch and the only manufacturer that I know of that did that was Compaq/HP about 5 or so years ago. Typically there are no drivers to be installed for a mouse (touch pad) as a generic set is in the driver library of the operating system. 9 times out of 10 it is a hardware failure. With that being said, if it has warranty send it in, if it does not, (although it may just be a loose connection or the touch pad itself) most repair shops are going to run anywhere from 150 - 300 dollars just to crack it open. Best option is to get a small USB mouse, unless you just really want the touch pad.
