The display keeps reading OUT OF RANGE even though it is standing in the same place I have had it for months

If this is a computer monitor it means it is not able to sync with the graphics card and it could be the card or drivers or settings or the monitor.

My samsung 750s monitor has a message saying sync. out of range

When you turn off the pc the monitor loses the sync signal and should go into a suspend mode where the screen is blanked. The power management settings should be checked. In display properties check that the monitor is installed correctly.

HPL1506 The input signal from pc display foe few seconds and goes off error recommended setting - 1024 x 768 - 60Hz

It can be that your PC video resolution is set higher than 1024 x 768 @60Hz for the monitor to display correctly.

Try this per HP:
HP Business Monitors - What Do I Need to Do When the Message Sync out of Range Displays on the Monitor? ISSUE: What do I need to do when the message Sync out of Range displays on the monitor? When the video card signal exceeds the frequency allowed for the monitor, the following error message may occur: Sync out of Range SOLUTION: To avoid the message, lower the resolution or vertical frequency of the video card. Reboot the system and use the VGA mode to force the video card driver to lower its resolution. Follow these steps.
  1. Shut down and restart the system. For consumer systems such as HP Pavilion desktop PCs, push the Power button once. For commercial systems such as HP business desktop PCs, hold down the Power button for five seconds.
  2. Immediately after seeing the HP/Compaq logo screen, press F8 at system startup to initiate the bootup menu.
  3. Scroll down to highlight Enable VGA Mode , and press ENTER .
  4. After Microsoft Windows completes its bootup process, access the Display Properties and select a desired resolution, which is compatible to the connected monitor.

Getting a No sync message on monitor ,computer

No sync message could be for 2 reasons.

1. Loose VGA cable
2. Wrong driver installed or configuration made is out of monitor range

For loose cable you can fix it up from both ends, on CPU and on Monitor itself.
For second reason, we just have to delete display driver from Device Manager. Follow below method to delete driver

Start computer in safe mode. To start in safe mode, as soon the system boots up press F8 and select Safe Mode. After you log into the safe mode. Right click the "My Computer" icon on desktop, go to properties,
go to "Hardware" tab, Click on "Device Manager", go to "Display driver" and expland it, select the driver below the expanded "Display Driver" and press delete to remove the driver. Now restart the system and it will automatically adjust the display driver for you.

Sync out Of range

Hello,
You need to get the monitor back into a range it can use and the best way is to go into SAFE mode on the pc put it back into 640X 480 and at 60 hz refresh rate. 37.9khz is way too high for the monitor!
It is best in the 60hz to 80 hz (if it can go that high!) start at 60 to begin with and it will work.
Good Luck!

Display problem after Format

Hi, my name is Alex and im here to help sort your problem out.

It sounds to me like you need to change the herts configuration of the monitor and also the resolution you have your monitor set to. It should be set by default to 60 herts. Also, the resolution is best set at 1024 x 768. To set these, you need to right click anywhere on the desktop and click properties

To change the reolution.

Click start, configuration, display. Slide the cursor until you display 1024 x 768

To change the herts.

Click start, configuration, display, advanced options, monitor and make sure it is set to 60 herts.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you experience more problems.

Sync out of range

If using windows, boot to safe mode, and make sure your resolution is low enough for your monitor to handle.

Check your cables to make sure there are no broken pins.

No display in monitor

This may be the problem with the WYSE driver. Ensure that correct driver is intalled and colour profile is compitable. Syncmaster is auto detected by window based OS.the message "Sync out of range" comes due to improper out put video signal.
