Question about Sony NW-E107 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Transfering Problems I can not delete or add songs to my Network Walkman. SonicStage picks it up, but every time I transfer songs it brings up F: boxes. I tried to format the flash drive, but it comes up with a memory error. I also tried to initialize it in SonicStage, but with no success. It is playing fine with the songs on it. What do I need to do?

I want to add video songs via sonic stage but they are not added..

The NWZ-S616F Walkman Player is not transferring the music using the SonicStage Software. Sony old Walkman player was using the SonicStage Software for transferring the files. You can use Windows Media Player 11 or higher, Media Manager for Walkman, Content Transfer Software or Windows Explorer for transferring the files to the Player.
Click here and select the operating System to download the Software for transferring the files.

I have a sony network walkman nw-e55. the problem is that windows 7 doesn't recognize the device and i can't transfer music to it. install sonic stage didn't solve it and i can't find a driver that works....

The NW-E55 Walkman Player is compatible only with the SonicStage Software for transferring the songs. Unfortunately, the Software is not compatible with the Windows 7 OS and won't be able to transfer the songs from the Windows 7 OS using the SonicStage Software. Only option to transfer the songs to the Player using the Software is via Windows XP or Vista. However. once you install the Software and transfer the songs, you've to use the same computer to transfer or delete the songs again.

Thanks for contacting FixYa.

I am not able to install songs. i have installed sonic stage software. it detecting the player. after disconnectiog and playing, it shows no playlist.

The issue happens as the songs transferred to the player is not using the SonicStage Software. I suggest that you backup the songs in the Computer and then Format the Player. To Format the Player; press and hold the DISPLAY/HOME button, select Settings-->Advanced Settings-->Initialize--> Format-->OK.
Once the Walkman Player is Formatted, install the latest version of the SonicStage Software in the Computer and transfer the songs again using the Software to the Walkman Player. Click here to install the latest version of the SonicStage Software.
This should resolve the issue.

The NWE503 Walkma player is compatible only with the ATRAC3/ATRAC3+ and MP3 songs. These songs format will work only when transferred through the supplied SonicStage Software. You can download the latest version of the SonicStage Software from here
Transferring the songs using the SonicStage Software will resolve the issue.

How do i format my sony mp3player walkman

You have to work from Sonicstage.
Follow these steps:

Install Sonicstage (probably you've already done that)

After installing, connect the player to your computer and select 'format' from the menu (This will remove all data from the player, so you might want to make a backup).
Now transfer your music files to the player using sonicstage.

If you don't transfer them using sonicstage, the player data will get corrupt and tell you there is no data.

NO DATA:but i have so many songs on there ?

Transfer songs to your player only with SonicStage. If you did with other software, format the player from the menu and transfer songs from SonicStage. Sonicstage can be downloaded here under SonicStage. Make sure you install the security update after installing the software...

Sony NW A3000 Walkman

Follow these steps- - Open the Sony Walkman from "My Computer". - Open the folder inside, then delete all the "DAT" files. - Open the second foler which is inside the first foler and delete all these files. - Close that and then open up "SonicStage" - Now delete all the files from your library, but, DO NOT delete them from your computer. - Now import all the songs again and it should pick up the device and start to transfer with no problems. I have done this with my Sony Walkman and it now works. If you experiance more problems contact me at
