Hey Tony, Changing the voicemail message is as easy as calling your voicemail, selecting SETTINGS from the main menu and re-recording the message. The type of phone (equipment) does not matter . If you have problems and are unable to do it this way , then dial 611 from your phone and talk to a service tech regarding voicemail (option 5 I think...?).
If you don't want to waste minutes listening to vm:
Just call your cell phone and let it go to voicemail. When the voicemessage comes up click the pound sign. It will ask you to enter your password, then you can listen to and erase voicemail for free.
In order to change your voicemail message you need to call into your voicemail system. Voicemail is not actually in the phone but a service where your calls are forwarded to. Most voicemail systems will play the main menu if you press the * key. One of them should be about a greeting. Check with your carrier for specifics.
go to the voice mailoptions on your phone then press on something containing to voice mailnumber then put in 1 then area code and then the number if that don't work call voice mail and Lessenfor voice mail options and do the same
the voice mail should be automatically enabled with your phone provider, but sometimes it can take upto 12 hours for your number to be set up fully.
If you mean you want to set up a specific message you have to call your voicemail number, normally a o-o type symbol on your keypad and then follow the instructions in the retrieval service to change your message or options.
