Greetings!
Find a cd installer that has a usd driver, only usb installer, in some motherboard installer under utilities, or driver installer. Just install the usb installer.
Thanks

Laptop does not recognize the flash-drive after it's pluged in.

there are some reasons why it does not work.
1- You do not have correct drivers for the flash drive, and the computer will not recognize the product. simply update the driver for the flash drive and it will work. To do this go to the flash drive companies site and search for product driver updates
2- You have damaged your flash drive to the point where windows will not even recognize it. To prove this, plug multiple usb devices into the port and test if they work, and test the flash drive in different ports in your laptop and other PCs. If it is still not working, then it is faulty and will not work. Purchase a new one if this is the case

Hope This Helps

Computer is not recognising the flash drive

Do other computers read the flash drive? If not, faulty drive. If yes, it may be recognized but you have Auto-play disabled. That's actually a good thing. Assuming this is a Windows computer that is at least XP or newer, open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) BEFORE connecting the USB drive. Then left-click on the My Computer item. The right side of the screen will display all currently recognized drives. Plug in the USB drive and watch the righ side of the screen. I'll bet a new drive will appear within about 45 seconds. If so, just double click on the new drive and you'll see all your "stuff". If not, you may have a faulty USB port.

How to install Memorex USB 2.0 1GB flash drive on computer with microsoft 2000 OS

windows 2000 should recognize the flash drive immediately after it is inserted. The flash drive should install itself. Besides, there are only drivers available on the Memorex website for Windows 98se.

Kingston 4GB Data Traveler USB 2.0 flash drive not recognized by eMachines T1090 with Windows XP Home Edition. Says it needs a driver????

probably, the driver was not installed by default.

1. launch the flash drive web site and download the driver for flash drive.

2. test the flash drive with windows xp service pack 2 operating system,if it works without a driver. then providing a driver for your window will do.or upgrade the os

Hello i bye today usb flash drive 8 gdgn-8 1.1 or 2.0 i need plug in because my compiuter need it i have window vista

Most flash drives are plug-n-play devices. Windows Vista should be able to handle this. Simply plug in your flash drive into an unused USB port. The computer will take less than a minute to recognize your device and assign a drive letter to it. Now it can be used as a removeable drive.

Hope that helped.
