Question about HP Computers & Internet
I have a laptop. I have a newer Targus power adaptor (had at least six months) - I pushed the power button and got no power. The light would light up for the battery each time I pushed the power button. The light was on the adaptor, although the adaptor never showed signs of being warm. The battery has never been replaced. Is it the battery or power adaptor?
1) Battery can be derect.
2) Power adapter can be defect.
3) Power jack can be defedt.
In about 50% of such cases it is the power jack.
Bring it to a repair shop. They can check very easily the battery and the adapter to find out the problem.
